Apart from Graz, all of the regular male pros (not Neil) have made the final at least once - and if you count international versions, then Kai, Johannes, & Vito all have 3 each in total, tying with Gorka's 3 on Strictly. So I can't see why anyone would be jealous.

TBF much as I'd love Gio and Anton's tour to be a flop quite a few venues are sold out. They have a solid Beryl fanbase.

Kai and Nadiya: I don't really understand why a promoter/producer would repeat this tour when it seemed not to do that well last year. Must be breaking even I guess.

The problem with Vito is he just overly tactile with everyone, that signs with other people don’t apply to him - the only person he isn’t overly with is Jowita. She looked so uncomfortable in his vlog that he did of the last pro show. I have now accepted that Jovito will never be thing.

Looks like Vito is on his way to Manchester - food with Ellie and her family and then off to see Nikita and Layton I reckon. Roy will be happy - I kind of love Roy and his Ellito love.

There's a mention of 'lewd remarks' though which I guess could have accompanied the gesture (off to bleach my brain at the image).

I agree: I do think it's possible Amanda had a meltdown and couldn't cope/took against him. But then when three other contestants have come forward AND the pros won't support him I have to think it was bad.

Though Duncan James has left a supportive comment on his post - scratch that, FR is innocent!!

tbh that's kinda a murky area as well as everyone has a different threshold for what they consider 'lewd remarks' and an entertainment industry workplace is going to have different standards than the average office job. But if he has done anything truly unambigulously inappropriate that multiple celebs can attest to it's gonna look really bad that he was employed for 9 years and nothing was done.

Anyway, I look forward to popping over to DS to read all about how poor Gio still can't speak English after 9 years and obviously only meant to tell Amanda her fleckerl was lovely and accidentally told her [redacted]

Oh dear he's looking rough those pap shots are set up, but why would he want to be seen looking terrible and spending his morning in casinos?! Are they trying to paint an image of a broken man? Very odd.

Some sort of redemption arc? I don't think I've seen him wear a T-shirt in years!

The thing that concerned me about those gambling photos was that it was before 10am in the morning and they weren’t what I would call a casino.

Amusement arcades in regular towns (not seaside) seem to have tried to rebrand themselves as casinos.
One near us got done over and when police posted about it on fb everyone one was like 'since when have we had a casino?'.

I was watching an old episode of Gogglebox recently and Strictly featured. I had forgotten/ blanked from my mind the silly little jump that he did when the couples were being shown, at the beginning of the programme.

I saw a video of Layton and Nikita doing a Charleston to Hot Honey Rag? I guess the other one was too complicated without much rehearsal time and needed props. Sounds like most of their other routines were reasonably straight from the show.

I really hope that the reason that Gio and Vito clash isn’t because they are too similar.

I don't see any evidence of them being similar? For one, the other pros like Vito.. Also Gio wasn't FR till after Rose/BAFTA/Arduino scandal. One of my fave partnerships of his was with Ranvir, who was terrible at Latin, but he took a lot of trouble with her ballroom. (Obviously this analogy doesn't really hold up now we know she's complained! but on the front of he didn't just give up when he got her. Of course with Richie he seemed to..)

Never know perhaps Vito has found this thread - could be a clever ruse - posting about sewing on a Friday night listening to dancing on my own. It was black and white - so was it night. Or maybe he is single, just doing some sewing on a Friday night or maybe he and Ellie are together. Who knows.

Gio - I’m soft, so even I wasn’t close to him at present but had in the past, I would reach out to make sure they are OK. I would like to think Anton would have a chat.

I wonder if Pasquale will be back on the Italian version? Quick read of the article and I also wonder if they are offering pro but he is trying to negotiate judge. Then if that doesn’t work out go for Pro and he can he wanted to carrying on performing rather than judge. There is no way Gio would choose pro over judge.

I see it says either as judge or pro. The only thing I'd say is that he is really not well known in Italy - he left there without doing TV so he's only vaguely known for having won SCD. I mentioned at the time that when he, Nikita, Vito and Graz attended the Ballando finale in December the two mentioned by the host where Vito (as former winner) and Nikita (as brother of a current pro).

No she didn't. It was only her second year as a pro and she had gone out in week 3 in her first. She had 30k followers on Instagram when she was partnered with Joe and didn't know how YouTube worked. Six months later she had about 750k and started her own YouTube channel. She's also managed by Joe's social media management company.
I remember when the Dianne Beryls on DS lost their shit and cried misogyny when it was suggested that Dianne has benefited from her relationship with Joe, which I thought was weird considering they had watched it happen. But it's more nepotism, so many people on social media have got started by appearing in a more established creator's 'content'. Joe benefited from his sister being Zoella in the same way that Dianne benefited from Joe.
Now people are more obsessed with Dianne than with Joe, but she does cultivate that parasocial relationship more by replying to her stans and messaging them and making time for them at the thousandth stage door they go to.

I’m fascinated by PR and Marketing ( nearly went down that route as a career) and especially how the press works, how they are briefed and what they choose to actually use.
