I wonder where the majority of Jamie’s votes will go now? I was voting for him, and think probably will split between JB, Montell and Pete.
Aye same for me, in all likelihood, probably with a slight lean towards Montell because it looks like she needs the votes. ❤

Same for me too - I was voting for Jamie, Pete and Montell but will switch to JB, Pete and Montell now.

After the launch show I genuinely thought Montell had a chance at winning the whole thing. I just don't feel like she's had any stand out moments apart from her couples choice, which I've rewatched many times, but has now been forgotten and she's just getting lost

I think the final four will be Chris, Tasha, JB and Sarah but out of the last 3 I can't call who will face the dance off in the semis. Saying that, I could well see Pete getting to the final at the rate he's going

Did anyone listen to staying relevant and Pete and Jowita said if they get to the semi finals there’re doing an Argentine tango? I really want to see that!
I was worried about Pete getting the jive next week but the waltz is far more in his wheelhouse so I have a small hope we might just maybe get to see their AT. It would suit them because they have great chemistry and Pete’s proven to be good at lifts. And Strictly already owes me an AT after I was deprived of Nigel and Katya’s last year.

It’s been interesting to learn how far in advance they organise the dance order. I thought the producers did a few at a time and adjusted as they went but it sounds like everything is set from the very beginning.

I probably want JB to win just because of the joy it would bring me to see Amy’s face.

I can see her breaking Karim’s land speed record from the Clauditorium to the dance floor, elbowing JB and Lauren out of the way and claiming the glitterball for herself.

I read somewhere that JB came close to dropping Lauren on Saturday night? I haven't watched the show but I gather that they got a very high score.

Why did Diane’s dad do the autocue?
---
The DM has picked up on obvious mistakes from JB that weren't picked up by the judges or reflected in the scores.

Where was Shirley and her 'I can't do it for one couple and not for another'. They are blinkered to some couples and ultra critical of others.

Poor Jamie.
Agreed. She shows blatant favouritism

I'd only vote JB because he's had a rough journey in the competition having to change partners, then really seemed to come out his shell with Lauren. I like Lauren and would like to see her reach the final as I reckon she'd create a great showdance.

But it's really just because it's slim pickings of who's left. I don't like Sarah put-a-penny-in-her-and-watch-her-spin, Chris does nothing for me as I find the patronising attitudes towards him quite nauseating (on DS today I saw somebody say he's a "good little dancer" - he's forty bleeping seven!) and though I like Tasha, her dances are mostly dull.

I've checked out a bit this year, it reminds me of the Hamza year for me where I just wasn't invested in anyone after the half way mark. Now Jamie's gone I only really care to watch Pete and I can't say I enjoy a waltz so have no desire to watch that this week either. Last year was a vintage year for me as I was invested in almost all of them still at this point, hopefully next year will keep me hooked until the end again

You have kind of summed it up to be the most 'we don't want any of them to win' final.

Would vote for Montell, but she has about as much chance of reaching the final as the 9 celebs that have already been voted off. :(

edit: Pete of course is the main vote attrcting dancer, but the judges will almost certainly nobble it for him to be unceremoniously expunged.

One of their lifts (I think the third one?) she went up and over him and it was just really clumsy and fumbled - my husband was in the kitchen and I shouted "oooh they've messed up a lift!" and then after the judges' comments I shouted "they might be on for a 40!!" - he couldn't make sense of it and neither could I! It was an enjoyable dance but the fact none of the mistakes were mentioned by the judges was really odd!

Antons comment on the dance off “ any other time you two could win the whole thing”, people can deny it all they want, the winner is set

I can't stop seething about the way the judges have treated Jamie! Like what is the reason for it!? The only thing I can think is they started off being harsh to push him and when people started commenting on it they got defensive and doubled down and it just got worse every week. But the way Motsi in particular, who is usually so kind and positive, was so cold and witchy when talking about him, it's just bizarre!
This shown needs a huge shake up.

I don’t dislike JB and Lauren, their routine was entertaining and very technical, but it was littered with mistakes and sloppy in places. It really seemed like a case of cramming in as much content rather than focusing on the quality. So I really was baffled by the judges comments and scores. Yes, it was good but in no way was it a 10.

I think there has been some exaggeration here regarding Tasha's behaviour/persona on love island. She didn't do anything worse than any other contestant. The heart rate challenge is something they all have to do, hers was actually quite tame 😳 and she's still with Andrew two years later.
Imo anyone who gives it their all on Strictly and enjoys the experience deserves to be in the final if they have the public support to get there, whether they're a duffer or a ringer. I'd actually like to see a mega ringer win it for a change.

I thought he looked a bit out of synch and just not very sharp. He doesn't have quite the style or physique for the Charleston I think. His samba was much better.
