Re Jamie - Rage at Motsi and her witch side to Jamie, sour face and not clapping. Shirley spiteful as already know. Anton didn't like being mimicked but he was off Jamie before Saturday. Craig saying he'll save Montell before she danced off.

WTF was their problem with Jamie - sheer nastiness, sickening to watch

Still Fuming and sad but seeing Jamie rumba again and getting hoisted as a champion on the shoulders was like a big fxxk you to the judges and I was there for it.
Not clapping for Jamie is just nasty.

Nasty witchy judging panel.

So unnecessary. Honestly, I don't think I can be bothered with the rest of the series now.

The hypocrisy of the Strictly audience never fails to amuse me. According to them, Pete should go because he's the worst dancer but Tasha shouldn't win because she's the best dancer and Chris must win even though he's not the best dancer.

So it's a dance competition until it applies to your favourite, I guess, then it's never been about about the dancing though it also is.

Did anyone listen to staying relevant and Pete and Jowita said if they get to the semi finals there’re doing an Argentine tango? I really want to see that!

Exactly, it's just so weird. At least be gracious when he's booted out, like they manage to for the duffiest duffers even? If he was a nasty b and they were glad to see the back of him, fine, but he must be popular with the cast for a reason. I think Tess was even a little gutted! I don't know why the judges insisted on pissing on his enjoyment so much. Maybe he shagged all of their mums or something.

Though I would have been gutted still, I would have been alright with him just generally not being popular enough for the vote, I'd understand not everyone loving him as much as I do. But the whole way the judging and scoring for him has been since his samba has perplexed me and soured things a bit.
When he was on the Christmas show, I thought oh I would love to see him doing the actual show. He is a lovely guy, and I hope that their cold hearts felt something (but probably not) when he made his leaving speech. There are less talented dancers left, and definitely some with a heck of a lot less personality or connection with their partner.

Fair enough, he didn't get enough votes to keep him out of the bottom two, but the way they treated him is absolutely crap. I saw a thread on Reddit about how harsh they have been to him. Someone said they asked Shirley on instagram why she was so hard on him, and Shirley blocked them.

I have very little interest now, in the rest of the series, and I usually look forward to Strictly starting every year since I first started watching it.

I like Pete but he is a seasoned ‘celeb’ and other than Montell, I would say all the remaining celebs know how to manipulate to get votes - it’s a popularity contestant with dance.

Pete is bang right that everyone needs to chill a bit. It’s really not that serious.

Like I’m disappointed about Jamie, but the only place I’ll be abusing the judges is here.

I felt like that last year when Nigel left. I know it was because of injury but like Jamie, they were harsher on him as well than others and they would have cut his journey short in exactly the same way given the opportunity. I know they won’t, but I hope the BBC look at the different social media platforms and take note what the majority of people are saying about the judges. At this stage I think their egos are totally out of control and they all need a wake up call. Who are any of them to make people feel like tit and lose confidence in themselves? I’ve watched it every year and always said the only reason I’d stop is if Fakey Quickenden got on (if you know, you know 😉) but if they don’t make changes to the judging panel next year, ie Shirley especially out, I’ll be switching off anyway.

I like someone taking Shirley to task 😂 if that's all they said it's not that bad, but tbh Shirley has said she doesn't do her own social media accounts, someone manages them for her, partly because she was getting trolled so badly, (and fair enough, no one should have to deal with that, I imagine some of it was really quite nasty). So that person probably just blocks anything that isn't praise. I joked about sending Shirley abuse but it is a joke, I wouldn't actually do it. I would boo her at an event though.

I'm going to continue to watch but more through the eyes of my mum so to speak, she's totally untainted
We just pick our favourite dance of the night (not necessarily the 'best' btw) moan about the judges and thoroughly enjoy it.

All this balls about it's not a dance show people are ruining it now for themselves it can be about the dance if you want it to be, it really is for a lot of older and younger viewers .

Pete mentioned on today’s podcast that he got a “tit ton of abuse” last week including from the press. He said he even got death threats to which his response was “it’s a dance show, boys and girls.”

It’s ridiculous that anyone would feel the need to send anyone abuse over a Saturday night entertainment show. Pete earned enough votes to stay in and therefore he deserves to still be in the competition. It’s as simple as that.

(I’m guessing the man who’s previously had death threats from TOWIE fans wasn’t expecting to experience the same from Strictly fans!)
Wtf is wrong with people? It's not that serious!

Having never watched Love Island I’m shocked that Princess sterile Tasha would do such things! I did see a video of her doing a tiktok dance with fakey Jakey which did make me side eye her.

My expectations of Motsi and Craig are higher than Shitley and Anton who are unprofessional on a good day but they all did dance classes with FANF a couple of months ago which has definitely made me change my opinion of them.

I don’t care if Jamie has done something to upset them all (which is doubtful considering how popular he seems to be with everyone else) they are paid a lot of money to professionally judge the dances so should be impartial and push personal opinions to the side. Their blatant negative attitude towards him is disguising.

For anyone wanting to see an example of Tasha on Love Island - here is her heart rate challenge dance - around 5 mins 20 in - kind of wish her couple choice had been like this - she could of straddled Anton -

That is very unprofessional of them. Not that that surprises me, unfortunately.

I didn't watch the results, as I knew Jamie was leaving, and I couldn't bear to see that after the way he was treated by the judges.

I kept saying Jamie had stood on Shirley and Motsi's corns (as my granny used to say) in particular. Motsi was called on at least twice to be the first to give him feedback and there was always a pause from her, before she crushed him. She was also really cold when Claudia asked her about him recently on the results show. She said her piece then finished with a really sour 'if he does that he will improve' or words to that effect. Ugh. You'd swear it was Les Dennis or Ann Widdecombe level of performance he was turning in.

Not even to applaud him, wow, that's next level witchy. And Craig saying who he was going to save beforehand? That makes a mockery of the whole thing altogether.

I watched a brief clip of him and Michelle saying their last few words before they left. 😔 If he had been treated fairly, I could deal with that, but it's the tit they threw at him week in, week out, like they did to Nigel, that makes this a really horrible way for anyone - especially such a lovely partnership, who delivered beautiful dances - to leave.
Sack the four of them 🤬
TBC and fair, Craig didn't literally say he was saving her but said 'you're absolutely fantastic, we love you, we love watching you dance... you will smash this'.

Motsi stood up at the same time as the judges and they all applauded but she stands holding her hands together and later applauds.

I can not understand their vindictiveness. There must be a reason.

Oh Nigel's departure broke my heart! But worse still was how he was treated by the judges.
Like with Jamie and Michelle this year, he and Katya would finish their dance looking delighted with life and then get crushed by a scolding rather than feedback. Someone else could go wrong and be told 'hee hee hee, it's only week eight, not a problem.' 🙄

It's very uncomfortable to watch. Regardless of what your career was or is, it's still a big change to be on Strictly. Working your socks off all week, learning a new dance, performing for millions. You would be forgiven for being delighted it's gone fine. Everyone deserves constructive feedback, what went well, what needs to improve. Not nitpicking one partnership to bits and lauding others for much less than stellar performances.

Exactly this, the judges egos are out of control. Sack the lot of them. It's supposed to be a bleeping light entertainment programme, not a 'let's see who we can crush to bits this week' programme. And in both cases, lovely guys with lovely partners.

Haha Quickenden will never get through that door, but I'd be switching off too, if he did 🤣

That Love Island clip of Tasha 😳

Wonder if her dad proudly posted on FB then! At least she showed personality in straddling and grinding with those boys - could have been a different rumba 🤣

What do people want Pete to do, storm the stage in the dance of and beg to be in it instead? It's not his fault people are voting for him and like him. That's the name of the game and the nature of the show

I've never watched LI and like one of the males, I too am speechless.

Why on earth would any self respecting person engage in such public trash and vulgarity. It's repulsive and tacky:sick:

There's a reason I don't watch Love Island, but opened my eyes re Tasha's "not so pure "side 🤣.
TBH you don't go on reality shows and certainly not LI unless you are ambitious to be famous.

Worse she weirdly did similar sexy hair touching dance to the Mary Poppins reveal!
