I wonder where the majority of Jamie’s votes will go now? I was voting for him, and think probably will split between JB, Montell and Pete.
I'm spoiling my ballot. Nun of the Above. (It would be Montell but she has no chance and I can't deal with the crushing disappointment and repetitive strain injury again).

JB's charleston was an enjoyable performance to watch but it was never a 10. It was slightly messy, he couldn't keep up with Lauren, and as Craig would say, you could see the mechanics of the lifts. The marking seems even more insane than usual this year, far too many 10s have been given.

One of their lifts (I think the third one?) she went up and over him and it was just really clumsy and fumbled - my husband was in the kitchen and I shouted "oooh they've messed up a lift!" and then after the judges' comments I shouted "they might be on for a 40!!" - he couldn't make sense of it and neither could I! It was an enjoyable dance but the fact none of the mistakes were mentioned by the judges was really odd!
He looked knackered and seem to lose his place towards the end

I can't stop seething about the way the judges have treated Jamie! Like what is the reason for it!? The only thing I can think is they started off being harsh to push him and when people started commenting on it they got defensive and doubled down and it just got worse every week. But the way Motsi in particular, who is usually so kind and positive, was so cold and witchy when talking about him, it's just bizarre!
This shown needs a huge shake up.
IMO The Judges have HUGE egos, they took Jamie's limited training hours personally. We know from their comments this year on the scandals they view it as essential that the celebs train long hours and that dancers are 'tough' and basically all of their time should be given to the competition.

Jamie was always respectful to the judges but he wasn't one for schmoozing up to them like Wynn or nipping back like Chris, so if they weren't going to get any kick back and he wasn't willing to doff the cap to them he was free game. They need someone each year they can pick on to show their clearly expert dance knowledge and how X is getting it all wrong.

Anyone else I might have been wondering if something was happening backstage we didn't know about but Jamie is clearly very well loved by everyone else and he's also loved by the EE cast so clearly the issue isn't Jamie.

I didn't watch live this week so already knew his score when I watched JB's dance and was shocked, I thought he had absolutely no swivel at all

I was worried about Pete getting the jive next week but the waltz is far more in his wheelhouse so I have a small hope we might just maybe get to see their AT. It would suit them because they have great chemistry and Pete’s proven to be good at lifts. And Strictly already owes me an AT after I was deprived of Nigel and Katya’s last year.

It’s been interesting to learn how far in advance they organise the dance order. I thought the producers did a few at a time and adjusted as they went but it sounds like everything is set from the very beginning.
I am sure Amy said somewhere that she had arranged for JB to have better dances for him towards the end because she thought he could get to the final (with her obvs!) Perhaps she laid down the law to the producers🤣
I don’t think it has been made obvious before that there is an order for the whole series

For the last few weeks I’ve been splitting my votes between Jamie and Montell, I’ll now likely solely vote for Montell. If she’s eliminated I’m not sure how I’d vote. I feel Chris doesn’t need my votes, Sarah and Tasha I just can’t warm to somehow, I don’t know why. Does Pete need my vote? That leaves JB, and whilst I’ve enjoyed watching him more since he’s been partnered with Lauren, but I feel I’d be voting for a throuple.

Yes, this, poor Jamie, his card was marked from the start add in the fact he is not doing the tour and he stood no chance🙄 Hope the judges get their comeuppance some how.

I feel, if you like Pete and would like to see him in the final, he does need your vote so you should vote for him. If he's in a dance off he's toast (even a hypothetical one against Chris). But he has a chance to make it to the final through public vote now, I think.

They will get Zero comeuppance, they were all happy to publicly support Giovanni and no one batted an eye.
The were even worse to Nigel last year and nothing. After a really difficult year were they appeared to struggle to find Celebs and now are trying to give the impression it's such a 'feel good' year the judges were perfectly confident in being guys to Jamie on live TV on a regular basis.

I think there has been some exaggeration here regarding Tasha's behaviour/persona on love island. She didn't do anything worse than any other contestant. The heart rate challenge is something they all have to do, hers was actually quite tame 😳 and she's still with Andrew two years later.
Imo anyone who gives it their all on Strictly and enjoys the experience deserves to be in the final if they have the public support to get there, whether they're a duffer or a ringer. I'd actually like to see a mega ringer win it for a change.
I think Tasha is a lovely young woman. Nothing wrong with wanting to be famous. Each to their own and she's educating some people on cochlear implants. The PG dances are strictly Alijaz doing. Imagine if there was actually a spark between them! Janette would spontaneously combust.

The judges and their attitude to Jamie is exactly the reason Gio and Graz didn’t/don’t think they did anything unacceptable in the training room and why the judges/pros still support them both, because it is seen as acceptable to speak like that. You could see Jamie looked deflated by their comments, why can’t they with all the celebs give feedback on the good points, then give constructive feedback on areas to improve and use the same tone with everyone.

That's what I read alright, and that they were out of sync at times, as well. I am very fond of Lauren and I am glad to see the big change in JB compared to how restrained he had to be with Amy. But fair is fair.

Why were they awarded such high scores while Jamie and Michelle got a scolding, and much lower marks! I can't get over how unfairly they have been treated. I have to get over it but they are so lovely as well, and he was so delighted to be in Strictly. Plus he is a damn good dancer! Aaargh.

My feelings with Tasha is, partnering her with Aljaz has been a waste of what she could have achieved, she is a better dancer than Ashley Robert’s who did some of the most in my opinion memorable and entertaining routines on Strictly. Aljaz just hasn’t made the routines exciting, the only one for me that has been was her Halloween one. I had hopes she would be an Ashley, Layton or Danny Mac levels of enjoyment.

I agree. I think she'd have been better with Kai or Nikita.

what if they bring her into the show dance or something 😭
If JB makes the final, Amy will definitely feature at some point. Her behaviour has been ridiculous and TPTB have enabled it.

I was thinking along similar lines this morning. And because he has a jokey, upbeat personality, they probably decreed that he was going to be the one to knock back this year.

Who will they pick on next 🙄 or is it all out of their system now! Jamie hadn't a prayer once he landed in the bottom two. And while obviously, he didn't get enough of the publc vote to keep him out of there, it will always rankle with me that he was treated to the Nigel icecold nitpicking 'feedback'.

Jamie was hugely popular with everyone, so it's clearly not him, it's them. Pack of bullies.

If they need someone to pick on it will be Sarah, they were harsher with her at the beginning and then softened towards her. They know Chris and Pete are popular with the public so will leave them alone, JB no way, Montell and Tasha are a nope. So it just leaves Sarah.

For anyone wanting to see an example of Tasha on Love Island - here is her heart rate challenge dance - around 5 mins 20 in - kind of wish her couple choice had been like this - she could of straddled Anton -
We need to get the old grannies to see this. I imagine they will not be best pleased. 🤣🤣

Yes, I'd have loved to see her with Kai. I can't get interested at all because of her being with Aljaz.

Amy will grab the glitter ball if JB wins 🤣
