If you are a long time fan of Strictly I would suggest watching the entire video. They brought back a lot of the original pros from the early days of the show and I think this was genuinely the most moving tribute I have ever seen. Seeing the pros and Bruno so upset at the end was heartbreaking

That was such a beautiful tribute and I am sure Len would have adored something so very him - “no messing about. Just a clean, simple Waltz.” And what a wonderful touch getting some of the original professionals back as well. That really was a perfect tribute (and Bruno and Derek’s tears set me off as well).

I was disappointed in the launch show that Strictly didn’t do a dance to remember Len because I remember how gorgeous the Brucie one was. I know he left the show a few years ago but Len was such a fundamental part of Strictly and it would have been lovely to see a similar tribute on our show, especially the thoughtfulness to bring back former professionals. One more classic ballroom pro dance to remember the ballroom legend who hated all the faffing about with props and who helped make Strictly the success it is.

The DWTS tribute to Len. It's gorgeous, some beautiful choreography from Jenna and Val and it's nice to see the OG pros back to pay their respects. Len's wife was also in the audience.

The DWTS youtube channel doesn't have this up yet so it might be a bit better quality when it's finally up there.

I wonder if James Jordan ever looks at all the love Anton gets from Strictly fans (not all of course, but plenty) and his getting promoted to the panel, and all of his other opportunities and wishes he hadn't been such a desperate, sore loser prick who pissed off everyone.

Ditto Brendan, although I always found him far less offensive than James, and he definitely chilled out later.

Brendan could have had everything Anton has now if he wasn’t such an objectionable prick. He also looks like a big toe with a face drawn on it.

As I said … note to Gio … look after Strictly and Strictly will look after you. Don’t leave under a cloud unless you have a burning ambition to be in panto in Swansea or pulling on the ice skates.

He did receive a severe punishment. He had to spend 10 weeks with Ann widdecombe the following year.

I don’t know what to think here!!
If Gio had said that about Jonathan then surely he wouldn’t have been allowed there on Saturday night over Amanda? With how inclusive strictly are being the last few years surely he would have been shown the door?
Also with how much support he got from the dead community and how well him and Rose got on it seems out of character to say something like that?
I think if this was the case there’s no way tptb would allow him to stay and Amanda to quit? They could have shipped Neil or Gorka in for her??
I’m no Gio fan at all it just doesn’t add up?

The typo of “dead community” really tickled me as the way he’s going they may well be his only fans left

I liked Nikita fine in his first year but I wasn't a fan of Tilly so I didn't pay that much attention to him. I really liked him last year and how he worked with Ellie and seemed to make it such a wonderful experience for her, and he started to become one of my favourite pros.

This year he is definitely my absolute favourite. There are others I adore, like Vito and Jojo, but watching Nikita being able to really let loose with his choreography and push Layton to meet him has just given him a chance to really shine. I love watching him on ITT and the training videos just having an absolute ball.

I'm WAY too old to be lusting after him... but I'm gonna do it anyway

Absolutely. That shot of Krishnan at the end of Saturday’s dance, arms in the air, joy shining out of his face. That is what I want to see on Strictly. What a wonderful partnership they have.

He is my winner regardless of where he goes from here.

That statement is just glaringly odd. Absolutely no mention- thanks, or disappointed apologies- to her professional partner.
She must know its like a big flashy arrow pointing to issues with Gio?
To not even mention him must surely be a deliberate passive aggressive ploy to subtly ensure people know it’s not injury related but partnership related?

NGL, I always thought Kristina was rough as fuck. The Corky affair/house smash-up was pretty trashy.

Rough as a badgers arse. The only one of her partners she didn’t fuck was John Sargeant and that was only because it was before you could get viagra over the counter.
