After being a bit fuming at Craig for giving Ellie T that 3, his comments to Molly before the dance off when she was upset have redeemed him. She needed that caring but firm little speech.
Well, considering he was probably the reason she was there int eh first place due to his scoring of Ellie T, he probably felt a bit guilty.

Read the spoiler and couldn't watch tonight because I felt awful for poor Molly. Must be upsetting to dance wonderfully and receive no criticism, yet be marked lower than people who did receive pointers, then end up in the dance-off and know it's because you aren't connecting with voters despite being nothing but positive and lovely. Hope it doesn't knock her confidence too much.

Of course, it must comfort her to know that the love of her life, Nikita, is now out of the competition and will be able to commit fully to their awe-inspiring relationship.
I read that Nikita is back with his ex and those “romantic” photos of Molly and Tyler are them looking at her phone waiting for a taxi 🤣

I think if nothing else Strictly 2022 will be known as The Year The Charleston Murdered Everyone

So far, in a 6 week period, it has taken out an impressive 4 celebs:
Kaye Adams
Jayde Adams
James Bye
Ellie Simmonds

Who shall be eliminated by this most deadly dance next? What unsuspecting minor celebrity will it devour without mercy?
which is quite surprising as usually it’s most couples highest scoring dances.

Obviously this is guesswork, but he should be bloody kind to Molly since there's a good chance that it was his 3 for Ellie that put her in the dance-off! Giving Ellie such an unfair score clearly drove votes her way, to such an obvious degree that I could be persuaded that Jojo slipped him a tenner.

They're both non-existent relationships of course, but I could get behind Molly/Nikita more easily than Molly/Tyler. I know he's actually quite young, but on appearance alone it gives me creepy age difference vibes. Sorry Tyler, but you undeservedly escaped the dance-off so I'm not that sorry.

Controversial but I'll say it - I wish we had a Molly vs Tyler dance off tonight.

Never have I seen two more bland frontrunners and neither have improved much since the start of the series. Molly was good in Weeks 1 & 2 and is still good, nothing real standout. Tyler is just overmarked most of the time except last night.

At least Helen, Fleur & Kym have improved.

Just watching the results show and noticed that Claudia didn't let Tony and Katya speak, just said his name, and this is what you are dancing to next week.
They looked pleased and jigged a bit, on the spot (while seated) and that was all.

Nikita is such a sweetheart, definitely my favourite pro ❤ give him a contender next year please. Poor Molly, she shouldn't have been in the dance off. As much as I've enjoyed Tony, when better dancers start leaving it's time to go.

Decorating the thread with Hamza Yasplease- I mean Yassin.

Hamza is so lovely, give me an adorable cuddly man over a 'beefcake' (🤮) you'd have to share the mirror with everyday 😁 (this isn't shade against Gorka btw, I can understand his appeal 😆)

I don't want to bring the smut over here but I genuinely think Hamza would be both AMAZING at sex and deliver incredible cuddling afterwards. It's all we want!

I don’t want to appear greedy, but as far as Gorka and Hamza go, the correct answer is BOTH.

This is very cynical of me but I'm not sure how I feel about Nikita saying Ellie taught him empathy and compassion. I feel like disabled contestants (e.g Ellie, Rose, Will Bayley) always get those kinds of comments from their professional partner, but I don't remember any able bodied contestants getting similar comments- someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that.

It just seems a bit patronising to me, and I feel like the way Ellie has been talked to/about by Tess, the judges and people online the whole way through the series has been patronising- she gets treated like she's Molly's age, she's pushing 30 ffs

to be fair to nikita, i think he likely picked the wrong phrasing. he said she taught him “so much about compassion” which i guess can mean watching how she interacts with the world and how the world interacts with her in general from the time they spent together. other pros have said similar in terms of being taught patience etc by a celeb so i’ll allow it, even if it was awkwardly phrased.

fully agree that tess sometimes was (unintentionally) patronising but i thought claudia and the judges were completely fair. i haven’t seen much online commentary about her though.

i feel like i’ve already heard despacito on this show (aston and janette maybe?) and i don’t remember it being that bad but who the heck knows this time around 🤣
It was indeed Aston and Janette. The band murdered it, but it did have some fairly impressive lifts
