I think so, like I said until recently there were quite a few articles on the internet about it. I think that he is a bit of a narcissist and having a child doesn’t really go with his millionaire playboy persona.

Also, his previous company social chain has horrendous reviews from workers. They were literally paying 20k a year to people who were pressured to stay late or get ousted. The guy is a disgusting excuse for a business owner and only cares about himself.

perfectIt sums up what I’ve thought about him all along. He isn’t a business mogul or a massive social media success, he literally got lucky making meme accounts when that trend was on the rise, literally anyone could have and probably did do the same - the problem was he decided to stick his face at the forefront of it all when it was likely not even him doing the leg work.
His inspirational quotes are bull, and as the article suggests, he has no real sound business advice to give, and that which he does offer contradicts everything he says in his book anyway, so he’s just a big fraud who got lucky and laughed all the way to the bank.
I’ve always disliked him and couldn’t work out why so many people thought he was so amazing, so glad to see there are others who see through him just like me.
I think he just regurgitates other peoples wisdom and passes off as his own.
That’s a very interesting article. I always thought Steven was just full of quotations or paragraphs he has just read and memorised from books or online. Nothing ever sounded like it was quite real or from him if that makes any sense? He clearly got lucky as this article suggested and enjoys fame and mixing with ‘celebrities’. I think his recent podcast with Dr Chatterjee who has had many books published, is a Radio 2 presenter and has his own podcast, was an interesting choice. Dr C too has also chosen to go along the fame route, and regurgitates other experts information in the field of nutrition and sleep. He’s also insincere and a hypocrite, which has in turn bought him success.

Ok so I hadn’t heard of this guy til I watched a few dragons den episodes and immediately warmed to him — I’ll admit I was worried he was gona be a wick based on first glance but I think he really holds his own on the show, and can be quite insightful.
Then I was just browsing tattle and saw his name come up… oh no! I’m actually gutted! I happened to catch one episode of his podcast recently and he said something about “my truth” several times which made me cringe but I thought I’d let it slide, I want to ignore how he comes across on social as on tv I think he seems really likeable.
I assumed he had a fairly privileged background due to his accent but it sounds like not? Also I can’t believe he isn’t gay, I don’t like presuming someone is if they’ve insisted they aren’t, though. Has he properly declared one way or another?

Stephen has a girlfriend, he seems secure enough to be out if he were gay. He says his background was very poor and volatile. He is mixed raced, comes from Devon. His dad is white, very mild mannered. His mum is very loud, unpredictable, African lady. And yet he is very well spoken. Something not adding up.
