Thoughts on him getting Matt Hancock / Gina Colangelo on his podcast?

Neither of them are 'CEO' material but tbf I can see why he'd want them on, given the potential for Molly-Mae esque headlines. Surprised Hancock is taking the risk but then he is now a bit of a modern day Dave Mellor
Matt’s the CEO of a duck up at his Department. She’s his very personal assistant. Won’t be listening to it. They seem to be wanting to be celebs. The back benches is a monumental come down from being at the forefront of the news.

Eh??

I never listened to his podcast but could understand it for what he was trying to do, but having Molly Mae and now Matt Hancock on is it for me - he’s clearly just latching on to whoever is popular in the media at the time.
There are plenty of CEOs he could speak to - why does he need to just speak to people who are recognisable? Presumably it would be more interesting to hear from CEO’s who aren’t in the limelight but are successful in their own right?

I work with some celebrity clients and he’s sent DMs to some of them asking them to come on the podcast so it’s clearly a celebrity trend he’s going down, rather than the CEO angle he’s trying to package this up as.

Omg I just saw one of his posts on LinkedIn as EVERYONE I know seems to follow and latch onto everything he posts.

When I was done throwing up from the sheer cringieness of it - I decided to see if there was a community who felt the same way I do!

Omg this guy! I don’t think there is anyone more unbearable on the internet at the moment!?

Sums up the shambles LinkedIn has become these days: fed up of tit like this and endless polls about WFH for engagement 🤦🏻‍♀️
Recommend @craponlinkedin on Twitter!!

Also wanted to add that I find millionaires like Steven and Gary Vee highly suspect when all they post is motivational quotes. I always think that if they were that rich and successful they would just be getting on with it.

I don’t buy the “I got here and I want to help others” - crap. The gullible followers who share, comment and buy their books and courses are making them money - if not now - in the future!

Spot on! They're businesspeople-turned-influencers, and their influencing is just a money making vanity project for them. I also see them all over my LinkedIn feed unfortunately. They're full to the brim of bull and their followers are so naive.

I am one of the gullible, waves. I bought the book. He is up himself, some of his book I found helpful but it regurgitates what other self help books have said.

There has been such an incredible tidal wave of them since the first lockdown, it’s madness.

Can't believe he rocked up in a "24 Hour" tshirt
Isn't his gf embarrassed? I would dump him quick time

Maybe not a puppet but 100% a muppet

He keeps saying on his podcasts, oh I'll probably be cancelled at some point. He never says anything that's any way controversial, so he's definitely just looking for attention.

I didn’t know he had a child either? Do we know who the mum is, the age of the child? In his book, which was written fairly recently, he was saying he wanted kids.

Reckon it’s something he’s actively tried to keep hush-hush?

Strange that his book mentions wanting kids, and that there has been no reference to this one previously.
