I used to quite enjoy his podcasts but then they went really heavy on the health side, and the guests started getting more intense or extreme in their views and theories. I really enjoyed the one with the girl from The Ordinary - crazy story!
It's the eyes, they look evil! His face is pure sneaky. His net worth has already been debunked.
I hate his huel and zoe adverts they are obnoxious
The best thing on Facebook for Huel was even though didn't declare it lots of people put it in comments and slated the product for it.He loves giving very dodgy people like Russell Brand & Simon Cowell a platform. And to further underline how unscrupulous he is...

Huel and Zoe ads banned over Dragons' Den star endorsements
The sponsored posts featuring Steven Bartlett should have made clear that he had financial ties to the nutrition brands, the advertising regulator said.news.sky.com
Yep, they’d both give you the sh1tsThis made me laugh a bit too hard![]()
Is it an energy drink? This made me laugh a bit too hard![]()
Consider yourself very lucky if you've never heard of Huel. It's marketed as a meal replacement protein shake, modern day herbalife i guess, specifically targeted at gym/fitness bros.Is it an energy drink?
I've always found Zoe/Tim Spector icky but could never quite find the right way to articulate it.What's most annoying about this is that I can no longer trust anything ZOE says. I know their podcast has always been meant to getting people into the subscription health service, but it was a good free resource. Bartlett now, and previously Tim Spector's nonsense about you should be avoiding SPF in the winter so not to get a vitamin D defiecency, and I can't listen to a single thing they say now.
Absolutely the health influencers are encouraging it and to worry about changes in your insulin levels that are normal. Lost count of people saying this causes a spike etc, so what it doesn't bleeping matter for a average person who isn't diabetic.I've always found Zoe/Tim Spector icky but could never quite find the right way to articulate it.
I think it is the combination of dishing out health and nutrition advice + selling the Zoe subscription service that is rubbing me the wrong way.
The Zoe monitor is absolutely not necessary for the average healthy person.
I mean loads of fitness influebcers do this, ell courses and fitness plans through a subscription, these academics probably thought if they can do it why not usI've always found Zoe/Tim Spector icky but could never quite find the right way to articulate it.

Also tbh any app monitoring health details will just end up sending details to health companies, which is worrying. I was so disappointed by Spector, he is so qualified etc but has totally devalued himselfI thought the podcast was a really good aggregator of accessible health and nutrition knowledge but after Tim Spector SPF-gate there's no way anything can be trusted that he says.
I never got the subscription service and monitoring blood glucose levels. A banana is perfectly healthy but it might spike your blood glucose levels? Why is that a bad thing? As long as you're not necking bananas and chocolate all day then you will be fine.
Ah yes, business lessons from brutal criminals who have done unforgivable things. Brilliant idea to start taking tips and tricks on leadership and resilience from the likes of Tony Soprano.Today, I am chatting to former Mafia member Franzese who was made an offer he couldn't refuse - from medical student to the most profitable mobster since Al Capone, this is the real story of the hidden mafia life.
Michael Franzese served as a captain in the Colombo crime family and has since become the best-selling author of books such as, ‘Blood Covenant’ and ‘I'll Make You an Offer You Can't Refuse: Insider Business Tips from a Former Mob Boss’.
We cover:
- How he ran the biggest scam in the world…
- The art of negotiation.
- The reason why he left the mafia.
- How he made $10 million a week?
and so much more!
This was a conversation that I did not want to end, Michael has had the most fascinating life.
What is most interesting about Michael is not what he has done but what he has become.
Franzese's life took a dramatic turn after leaving the Mafia, you’re going to hear how he went from the Mafia to becoming a motivational speaker sharing all the lessons that he’s learnt about business, resilience and leadership.
Tim Spector has said so many ridiculous things that I have no trust in anything he's saying. Nutrition expert my ass. He also says a lot of things that vilifies specific foods which is just such rubbish. No one food is going to make or break your health. I honestly believe anything he says is just marketing to steer people towards his products rather than genuine scientific adviceWhat's most annoying about this is that I can no longer trust anything ZOE says.
