I don’t think perfect Steph takes criticism very well. Probably why she made it private.Yeah idk why they were being praised for not flying home to Ireland through Belfast. Like honestly? They shouldn't have been going at all really. Loads of people working in London made the decision to stay in London before the whole variant and cancellation of flights thing. Laura her sister didn't plan to go to Ireland. They do what they want whenever they want. I only said in fairness compared to other influencers they follow a lot of restrictions. But the bar for influencers is extremely lowCompared to normal people they don't.

This is a genuine question, am I missing something, what rules are they breaking ? They don’t have the same rules as here or in the U.K. and she listed restrictions and I genuinely have t seen where they’ve broken those since they got there . Maybe I’m naive and I’m missing something

Ya I was thinking the same!! Rules are different everywhere!!! Don't see an issue with moving to be honest, once you follow the rules. I wonder how long it will be, before the novelty of living in a remote village wears off.
Don't get me wrong, I'd like that, but that is a big change from living in big cities and travelling around the world.
Well I don't think they plan to be there all the time, they just want to have a base and then continue to travel around the world a lot. Tbh I think they only did that and are planning to stay there for quite a while because of the pandemic. Otherwise they'd be travelling around South America or something right now. The pandemic made them realise their lifestyle isn't sustainable and they just want to have a base to store their stuff (read: store Stephs wedding dress)/ for when they want a break from travelling / for when tit hits the fan /for when they're older/ as an investment etc etc.
I’m enjoying the content of the move. The town looks lovely although it seems sleepy which is understandable in these times. However I get annoyed by how every single thing they do / eat / drink seems to be instagrammable. It is just not realistic to me & seems like an exhausting way to live.
I could not live that way, thinking that almost everything I do is content I can share on instagram... its just too much. I don't get it.
Me either. Mostly probably because I am so boring but also just no.
For me its along the same lines as people who really want to be famous, its weird that you would want loads of people to watch your every move. I guess a hole needs to be filled for Steph....
I think she has got so used to sharing every aspect of her life that she can't stop, like an addiction! I wonder if Tim's insta is the same? I do enjoy seeing different places though especially when we can't go anywhere! And secretly laughing that they got snow there
I agree but also I feel like there’s a sense of validation? Like she has often done polls like ‘do you want to see expat life’ etc but I feel like she will always ignore the negative? I do understand people enjoy the escapism but I don’t believe for a second that she hasn’t had people messaging asking about her irresponsibility, I think she should address that. I’m sorry my brain is useless at the moment but I think she would do better to chat about how difficult it is to move at the moment, langage difficulties in Covid, there’s so much she could tap into. I used to really enjoy her content and find her reply great but I’m so disenlightened with her now.

I reckon everyone has some levels of insecurity about how they look. Many people dye their hair, get botox, get braces, whiten teeth, sign up for slimming world, spent fortunes on make up etc etc.

Tim seems so gormless. He just seems to go along with everything. Every meal & drink is insta worthy. I couldn’t live like that.
