Magistrates Courts can only hand out a maximum of 6 months for a single offence and an unlimited fine, so any crime that carries a sentence longer than that will go to Crown anyway. Revenge Porn has a maximum sentence of two years.

Petty crime like shoplifting is a maximum 6 month sentence and other minor crimes will stay at the Mags court.

All cases will go to Mags court for the plea to be entered then forwarded to the Crown if the sentence is longer than 6 months.

This was suggested on an earlier thread when he first "lost" his account and I think it might actually be true. So people thought he purposely locked himself out of his account or deactivated it to hide possibly evidence related to the stuff with Georgia and maybe even other girls. I think he was waiting until he was "cleared" and all of a sudden hey presto his instas back. Now he's been charged he knows there's no chance he'll get away with that so he's just made a new one
