As per the ToS of the private companies that run all social media platforms, anyone subject to notification requirements is prohibited from using their platform. I recall a conversation with a colleague over there where I found out even caravan/holiday parks SPECIFICALLY prohibit people subject to ViSOR from staying there.

As his offences involved the internet and proliferation of material thereupon, I would hazard a (educated) guess it will be written into his licence conditions on release at the halfway point. So I’d give it a week or so before he ends up being recalled because he’s breached it or gone into a meeting with his Offender Manager/PPU giving it Billy Big balls. Then its whether its a fixed term (28 days in his case) or a standard (to SED). The story is not yet over I fear………

Edit: Of course he will on release have to register with Essex Police to comply with his notification requirements. Then meet his Probation Officer (I believe this is normally on day of release (@eggfriedrice please correct me if needed). Then he will have a home visit from the PPU to carry out risk assessments etc for their side of his management. He will be MAPPA 1 (again, educated guess) so managed by Probation and the PPU without the need for MDT involvement. He will be a busy boy. And none of it involves him posting pictures of his “genitals” on the interweb!

Will the fact that he committed the offence on the property he lives in and the proximity to G's home have any impact on his licence conditions, i am aware of someone that wasn't allowed to be released to their own home

Thats an interesting question actually! He is subjected to a 5 year restraining order anyway, so I would assume they would take that into account when drawing up licence conditions. Thats more a probabtion service speciality - is it a standard licence or one with additional conditions. Any HMPPS adjacent got any ideas (not specifics in his case before anyone has a stroke; just the framework for decision making)

I understand why people are knocking this thread on the head. Really, I do

I won't be going though. The people I have come across in here are the closest to what I can call friends. I don't have any in "real-life" and the hours I'm not at work, I spend all my time 100% alone. Not even talk to anyone on the phone. So in some ways, my time in here is a lifeline for me. Some people have been so kind to me, it's made me choke up. Some people make me laugh to the point where it hurts and reminds me how good laughing makes you feel. And equally, any time anyone has reacted to my post with a like, a heart, or the laughing emoji, it's made me feel worth something, included. And I don't feel so alone

I know there are much better ways I should be filling my time, but after working for two misogynistic pricks every day, being alone with thoughts every night and all weekend, coming here makes me laugh and take my mind off things.

So as much as I despise her, I will still be here. Maybe it will die off, but I'll cross that bridge when that happens.
