Our just system is a joke tbh… For voyeurism minimum is a fine - 18 months custody and maximum is 2 years custody, for disclosing private sexual images the minimum is discharge (disgusting) - 1 year 6 months in custody and the maximum is 2 years in custody
Since he’s shown absolutely no remorse and didn’t plead guilty there are definitely no mitigating factors other than it may be his first offence of that nature He could/should be looking at a maximum of 6 years in prison but I highly doubt that will happen, they’re the sentencing guidelines though

I'm just glad for the guilty verdict at this point. I could literally cry tears of joy. There is hope that abusers get what's coming to them after all

yes this would’ve been from when he was arrested and on file. As far as I know he hasn’t committed any other crimes (that he’s been caught for anyway) apart from the garden gate drama.

This statement from the chief of police is amazing, and too right after the disgusting uptake of unprovoked murders of women in the UK. Police need to take all reports of misogny, revenge porn, online intimidation, catcalling and violence against women as serious as can be. It's all related to grape culture. What Stephen Bear did and thought he could get away with is the result of the parenting he had and the society he grew up in, a society that has spawned other men who have done similar things to many of us in this thread. I think that's why this verdict means so much to us all. Big hugs today to anyone who has experienced anything similar to Georgia, or worse xx
