I found out indirectly from Stacey, so she told someone who told someone.
I'd previously thought she was pregnant and to be honest I wouldn't have posted on here if others hadn't also been speculating.
I didn't know about her miscarriages or that she was about to announce. Her announcement is clearly dramatic for Instagram but it's made be realise how much is lies or, to be kinder, embellished to make it more interesting.
I do believe she knows she's having a girl already. There's no reason for the person who told me to lie and again the info came from Stacey.

When a person is quitting heroin, they’re given methadone as part of their withdrawal programme. Their dosage is reduced until they no longer need it. There's enough resources to quit if she really wanted to, especially when she's pregnant. She can get nicotine replacement therapy while she's pregnant if it's affecting her life that much.

I’m confused and interested about these people being told they can’t carry a certain gender.
several women in my family have had miscarriages and I had several myself. After the third consecutive one we were referred to a specialist for tests and I asked if it could be that I can’t carry a certain gender and he told me there is no proof of that. Unfortunately I never found out why I kept loosing but a drug trial resulted in my baby girl and the drug regime has now been approved for use in multiple miscarriages
(I had four miscarriages, 2 x <6 weeks, 1 at 10 weeks with haemorrhage and retained products and second trimester loss of twin boys with TRAP sequence, I am now sterilised as the last miscarriage at 10 weeks was too scary to keep trying).

Not that I’m defending her - there’s no excuse to keep smoking when you find out you are pregnant(that goes for drinking as well) . I know three people who did smoke while pregnant…all their kids had low birth weights, they had issues during the pregnancy but still they smoked.
I smoked for years, gave them up when I met my partner and it was bloody hard because I went cold turkey. But I still did it. It was pre-children though…
