From Sophia’s story if she is in Dubai it looks like she’s staying at the Atlantis.

Could you tell me the name of the place? Or maybe post a link here?

And thank you everyone for all the help!!
It was called Andante Hotel, looking now I think they’ve upped their prices as I went in 2019 but still worth a look

You should take a walk through Laisvės Alėja as it's in the centre and the best restaurants are in that area. Laisves Aleja is also connected to Old Town (which is not that big) so it will be convenient.
I would recommend renting Bolt scooters snd riding through the city if you want to see a lot of things fast. I think there should be some guides online on what places to visit. Kaunas isn't a city I know well as far as tourism goes, I just go there and be with my friends haha.
Go see the Kaunas castle and if you have the time go to Vilnius for a day (it's like an hour long car drive) as it has way more activities and places to see.
And as far as food goes, here are some places: Momo Grill (if you eat meat), Nuogas, DIA, Piano Piano.
