I understand but lets face it these influence don't actually influence anybody. Majority of them are so far from a realistic lifestyle now it's hard to even enjoy their content.

To add I genuinely believe if people are looking at Instagram influencers for a platform to learn about news, politics & war then we really do live in a damned & sad generation.

I just don't think we can get angry at these people for 1. not posting about it at all or 2. not posting about it in a way we approve.

There's real GENUNINE social media platforms and pages out there which are created to teach and inform about this stuff. If I wanna learn about it I'll find one of them not Sophia Tuxford and Cinzia Baylis-Zullo who's content revolves around pink, unsustainable fashion, acai bowls & oat milk.

The odd influencer I do follow is for art, fashion or a nice break from everyday life. But then again we all have different expectations from who we follow. There's just no point getting bothered by it!
I do think it’s perfectly valid to point out that most influencers only post for their own gain or in a performative manner. As I’ve said I’d rather they just didn’t post but I do agree with your entire statement, as I said I would never look to an influencer for any kind of education never mind airheads like Sophia and Cinzia so I think the wider problem is the expectation on this pretty much good for nothing people to share things on it or their views.

I totally get you! I think this generation as a collective can agree that influencers actually bring nothing important to our lives and that we’re unfortunately just all here to help line their pockets 🤣🤣

I hope in the near future a new “influencer”generation can be born that is actually inspiring x

i don't think any influencer should be judged for not posting anything about current situation.it's sad that these days the measure of who cares how much is instagram. If i didn't post anything on my story doesn't mean i didn't think of all these innocent ppl suffering for 2 days and that applies on infuencers too

The poor hairdresser couldn't even hide how done he was with how thick these two are :ROFLMAO:

Also, they really need to get a new graphic designer. Those examples they showed were tragic.

I can’t believe they never really mentioned them presenting this ASOS award until their vlog like this is massive and they’ve shopped on ASOS since they first started you tube you would think they’d be so flattered and excited and proud to be asked that they’d be telling us all as soon as they found out it’s like they literally just share the bare minimum. Like I get privacy is a thing but HELLO? This is an amazing thing to be asked to do in front of all those famous people and big names such good exposure for them too. Like even after the award is presented and their back at the table they just don’t seem like they wanna be there like why can’t these girls just have fun and let lose every once in a while ?!

I’m guessing cos they don’t really see it as a big deal? I personally don’t 🤷🏼‍♀️

They can shove their drink covers up their ass tbh so cute and fun for them to profit off girls being spiked and also someone else’s original idea that they’ve just stolen and slapped their branding on to, didn’t even watch the vlog my friend sent me it but they’re the most insufferable bleeps and I don’t use that word lightly

i know they’re free with their other cheap tat but like it’s it just a advertising plea to sell off all that tit that nobody wants lmao

edit: yes it is very good for girls to have one of these even if it is TGB merch but like let’s not pretend it’s them trying to incentivise people to buy the rest of their crap

Did I imagine it or were those drink covers originally for sale on TGB and loads of people on here were saying how distasteful to charge for them - and suggested they throw them in as a free gift with purchase? Did they get the idea off tattle…

Totally agree with you, especially as a Eastern European myself! Feel the tik Tokker Amelie Zilber is a really good example of an educated influencer and shows how you can use the platform for good but unless this is what they will use it for, they can spare the reposting of the infographics on Instagram. Also totally agree with you that it’s so toxic that if you don’t post on Instagram you apparently don’t care when in reality a lot of the people who aren’t posting are the ones educating themselves and more in the know. Not to mention the misinformation and scaremongering spread through social media when it’s not taken from credible sources.

The part when they’re talking about the graphics is actual torture. This is their bleeping job, like if you have an idea for an intro draw up a draft and send over in your brief what you want what. Instead they literally were just going back and forth with a graphic designer and saying they couldn’t think of how to say what they wanted??? I would hate to work with them honestly.

it actually baffles me how they haven’t established their brand and whole aesthetic yet???? Their shoot that they’ve planned is going to be a tit show, euphoria vibes and flip phones 🤣🤣 how is that S & C and how the duck does that relate to The Girls Bathroom

The girls coming up to them in their vlog screaming ‘oHhhHh mYyyyyy GOooooooDddddddd I’m OBSESSED with yOuuUouuU!!!!!’ What so you’re obsessed with photoshopping, faking their reality on Instagram, doing the same tit everyday of their life which consists of getting in a black cab to selfridges to hire more clothes and bags cause their whole personality is based around copying one trend to the next, then heading for pasta and pizza before watching Shrek every night and posting their flat with ‘🥺🤍’, hearing tit advice that clearly has the vibe of being the type of girls that tell others to do stuff that will give them the satisfaction of seeing everyone else’s life look tit compared to theirs and having a weird obsession with being someone you’re not ie Kylie Jenner?? Hoooookayy then😎

also just have to leave this here. The difference is… I just have no words. She also talks about the got2b hair stuff in the vlog saying how good it is, it ruins your hair (from personal experience). And by these screenshots her hair doesn’t look in good condition, but then again we all know nothing looks the way it does on her insta in real life. Really Is a shame that a 25 year old woman nearly who’s nice just the way she is acts it such a way. It is such a deep rooted insecurity.
