and why are people paying for this garbage? you can get stuff like that for free on YouTube telling you what to russle up with this and that.

It costs £5.99 a month but the offer is the first 1000 to sign up get the first month free, how many people is she expecting to sign up? and if at least 1000 do that's 6k a month in revenue I know she's partnered with someone so will share the money and costs will eat a chunk up but come on that's just ridiculous. There are sites out there doing it for free and like @Telly Fanatic said above YT is great for ideas like that.

The thing with Sophie is that she brands herself as “ethical” and against food waste (dare I say even edging towards Jack Monroe territory). Yet she has finally succumbed to selling to her subscribers with this idea that doesn’t represent value for money at all. I can’t imagine who would purchase this app apart from a few of her fans. I guess something has to finance the house move they want! I hope nobody in genuine poverty wastes their money on the app.

She kept telling people to hurry as "only the first 1000" get the first month free, she was definitely expecting a huge uptake which made me chuckle as like you say there can't be many people out there who will think it's a great idea and are willing to spend £5.99 a month to see what they can do with some leftover veg and a stock cube.

The comments section of her latest vlog is still pushing for people to try her app for free so she didn't get the 1000 sign ups she was expecting, she seemed to think those free places would be snapped straight up.

Her new video has annoyed me. Eye opening for who exactly? You? Exactly. Cause when you've no option but to feed your family with £5 you have to. Like who are these videos for? Because the people that are struggling know exactly what they need to do to try survive until next payday.
