I have booked a trip with a company that specialise in trips for solo travellers. A friend has done about 5 trips with them, so I trust them and they do India which is a bucket list location for me so I booked it!

Sounds like a stress to me. You could do the same thing but with a one night stay for not much more money and then you'd get to actually enjoy more time somewhere.Has anyone done an 'extreme daytrip' before? I'm desperately craving some sunbut I'm not really a beach person so want something with a bit of cultural interest too. Aaand would like the flight to be as short as possible obviously to fit as much in as possible. Anyone know somewhere that fits the bill? I was thinking maybe Alicante or Malaga - somewhere I probably wouldn't do a full length trip. Whereas Seville or Valencia I would want more time (though I suppose I could always go back!) Spain is my comfort zone but if anyone has recommendations elsewhere I'm all ears!
And those who have done one before- did it feel worthwhile or was it a stress?
Yes me, done 2, one to Alicante and 1 to Malaga, off to Faro on the 5th. Didn't feel stressful at all. I travel from LGW. I'd highly recommend Alicante for your 1st one, so easy. Flight left the UK at 7.25 and I was sitting on the beach at 11.07 cost of flight was £30.Has anyone done an 'extreme daytrip' before? I’ve done extreme day trips to Copenhagen and Amsterdam, whilst they aren’t places you’d choose if specifically wanting sun they are both great choices with short flight times from uk and quick transfers to the city from the airport using public transport. I’d love to do more but as I don’t live near enough to an airport that offers cheap flights, the cost of hotels or transport in the UK around the trip makes it harder to justify.Has anyone done an 'extreme daytrip' before? I love them. Done Palma, Barcelona & Brussels. Tiring yes but sleep on the flights or Eurostar. Plan buses etc in advance and then you're in your own bed that night lolHas anyone done an 'extreme daytrip' before? Did you find a Horse riding trip?I've just booked my first solo trip, an extreme day trip to Alicante for £32 return. Also looking at a horse riding holiday in Spain in March.
Closest I've done is a mini cruise from Hull to Rotterdam (transfer to Amsterdam). I don't think i could do a flight oneHas anyone done an 'extreme daytrip' before? Chilling in the hotel whenever you like for as long as you like is one of my favourite things about a solo holiday! Enjoy! How do you get over the guilty feeling of sitting in the hotel room relaxing when you’re on a solo trip
I arrived late yesterday and have a tour booked in a couple hours but I’m just laid on my bed scrolling reels to decompress a bit but I feel like I should be doing stuff!
I just think sometimes you'll enjoy yourself better on the activities you want to do if you relax in the room a bit as wellHow do you get over the guilty feeling of sitting in the hotel room relaxing when you’re on a solo trip
