Kacie and her 1 month Rosemary water challenge bc it's a Tik Tok trend. Someone mentioned there aren't a lot of studies on the water and she replied "she did a lot of research" on it or whatever. If she had, she'd have seen it's about rosemary oil and that no results are seen before 6 months. Why is she the way that she is? Lol. The person asked her to post the study results, but of course she didn't. I'm assuming she read about it in Cosmo or healthynaturalremedies.c0m lol

So now she'll be teaching Italian via live "coffee chats" on TikTok? I'm assuming she's testing interest so she can eventually monetize it.

I know we only see a slice of her life but I don't know why she's always on about being stressed and so busy as a new mom. Kaia goes to daycare, Sofie doesn't have a traditional job, she's out and about more than many mothers of young kids. The other week she said Kaia napped for over 2 hours so she was able to shower...yet has also posted multiple "here's my 10 step nighttime skincare routine!" stories.

Exactly, neither are good adverts for what they are promoting. Kacie and her lack of general common sense is absolutely cringe worthy. Sorry guys, I know she doesn’t really fit the “bill” since she isn’t as expat, but rather because of being able to travel abroad and live lavishly because she was dating a guy three decades older.

If she really lived here over a decade--like me-- she'd know not to leave the house if a delivery is due around 10. It might come at 9. Pay attention, Sofie. Organize your cushy life differently. Side note but related...this is why Esselunga supermarket has trouble keeping home delivery drivers. People schedule blocks like "10-12" but if the guys pass at 9:30 they find nobody answering. Sure it's a little early, but does Sofie know what a shitty job it is for these workers to DRIVE AROUND CITIES , FIRENZE, especially?? Looking for Karens like herself (I agree with the label lol) bc then they have to still deliver to others, trying to keep decent time, but then back track for all the non responses. I mentioned Esselunga BC I know their drivers now and they're so grateful I'm understanding and have told me how brutal it is going round and round. I imagine most couriers are this way. It's annoying but girl, you have a newly renovated apt which only took 8 months, custom fittings, multiple AC splits, you don't actually work aside from your social media hustle and "consulting." STFU.

Yeh exactly, I'd rather deliveries slightly early or late rather than workers treated like machines. She has no empathy at all, it's interesting how her attitude is still so American imo

I agree Kacie doesn't seem into Italy at all. She doesn't seem to have any natural curiosity or desire to inform herself about anything. Then when she "discovers" something, she just does that annoying "woooooooowwwww" and, of course, uses it as content.

Yes! I have heard the same. I was just moving out of Florence when Coral was getting recognition. @emm might find this funny, but I asked friends if Coral was British or Aussie as I assumed, given her spelling and some slang. But no, she's American who tried/tries appealing to a broader audience. Lol.

@moronglace some other tea that goes back a bit. Nardia of Lost in Florence (who's been pretty mute for a few years) would definitely steal other people's ideas and swoop in on contacts and try to bag them first. She also had an issue with booze that I saw first hand.

Also adding, I saw some news about a tik tok MU "guru" that is getting slammed bc she never put #ad and only #partner or #gifted on posts she was obviously promoting products she was paid for. Not sure if tik tok rules are different than IG's, but Sofie treads a fine line there, IMO. She has a well paying higher tier job for SR. Not disclosing this clearly every time just seems shady.

Maybe this should be the Sofie and Kacie thread because Kacie is appearing to be much more gossip worthy! I am going to look for that video/post if I can, I want to see what she says.
For the record I never messaged her again, so that wasn’t me, but I’m glad I’m not the only one.
I’m sure at some threshold of followers/DMs, it becomes hard for Instagram influencers to respond to everything. But I’ve gotten responses from people like Sofie and Tia Taylor, it’s not like Kacie has a trillion subs and doesn’t spend her days on social media doing other work….

She does tours? Wonder how good they are if she doesn’t speak Italian. I feel like a modicum of Italian is necessary to organize your tours and interact with the local scene to ensure your tour attendees have a pleasant and authentic experience.
