All this pontificating and agonising about what to post or not post can’t be good for her mental health.

I know it’s not always that straight forward but in some cases I genuinely believe not having much to do day to day can be really bad for anxiety, because you’re left with your own thoughts and have so much time to think everything over to the point it causes a bit of a spiral. I’m not saying everyone should be constantly non stop 24/7 because that’s also unhealthy, but having all the time in the world day to day without many distractions can cause anxiety to get worse. It’s a shame she doesn’t channel that nervous energy into going on a long walk with Hank or something.
Very much. Hardly immune to feeling bad, but definitely see that work or *something* can be helpful. Otherwise, why get out of bed? Why put on your clothes? Why leave the house? All too easy to stagnate. Routine is good! And she also never gives herself time to have exercise or activity become a habit and part of her day. Do it daily for a month and then talk about it. Humans aren't meant to be so sedentary.

There are literally loads of videos of spin classes on YouTube and the web generally. She could’ve bought a mid range non branded bike for the same effect but a fraction of the cost

Jack Monroe is the worst thing to happen to food, honestly. What is that?
for me the highlight of the beginning of lockdown was discussing her awful stint on Daily Kitchen on her thread here 😂 and then her subsequent short lived other show, lockdown larder? I cannot follow it now as I am following about a million other threads so just check occassionally, good to see she hasn't changed at all 😂

kinda rich of Sofie, as a white person, to talk about how being fat makes her whole existance marginalised... like c'mon, she will never experience the prejudice that POC do and it's offensive to imply its even comparable

Of course. And that's a pure coincidence that most patients in intensive care are fat. She's deluded and criminal.

In my country, all studies show that severe obesity (BMI superior to 35) significantly increases the risk of being placed under invasive mechanical breathing machines, regardless of age and regardless of the pathologies who can be linked to obesity (high blood pressure, diabetes...).
About half of the patients in intensive care for covid are severely obese (and there are far less fat people here than in Britain, let alone obese).

That's why they need to get the vaccine and protect themselves particularly. That's why they are on the vulnerable people lists, everywhere as far as I know
tbh I think on some level she KNOWS she is more at risk but doesn't want to admit it...

Sofie getting Hank (seemingly overnight and from a disreputable breeder) for some reason gives me this feeling that she somehow thought Hank could help her mental health.

I can't prove it at all, but that's just the vibe that I get - that she was lonely or struggling with her mental health and thought a sort of "therapy dog" would help - which is completely unfair; we're meant to take care of our pets and not the other way around. She even mentioned her therapist saying something about Sofie transferring some issue or another onto her dog.

She'd mentioned on numerous occasions before that she loves dogs but she didn't think she should get one as because she doesn't leave her flat if she can help it and he has to travel a lot for work.
yeh she would have been better getting a cat, much more low maintenance and don't need walks obviously! I bet she ends up giving the dog away

I'm not sure what you're misunderstanding. There are a number of reasons which can cause long and irregular cycles which are quite common.
Yeah of course... But after months of no period for whatever reason, how would her tracker app know when she was going to restart?

I suspect Sofie will rehome poor Hank once lockdown is lifted and will use her mental health as an excuse.
She won’t be able to tour or gig with him. He isn’t well trained enough to go with her, and she can’t leave him. It would cost her hundreds and hundreds in dog sitter fees. She didn’t think it through.

It very likely has already exceeded that - tbh the tiles & mastic alone would be over a grand to replace 😬

LLs can pursue for additional costs but usually tenants that cause that much damage don’t have the means to cover it so they give up. She clearly does though, she may just end up paying to save face
I hope she continues and does whatever else is in the flat, I need this entertainment to get me though lockdown

Twitter bio states she/he/they but also nonbinary. So I would default to they for all NB peeps.

That said, given la Soph's control freak ways, I'm sure trying EITHER approach with them directly would lead to a multi-story smackdown where we are aggressively corrected on what we got wrong, and how dare we message in the first place 🤣 🤣 🤣

He is such a beautiful dog, I totally understand why Sofie fell in love and HAD to have him. But someone in their life who they trust really ought to have had a word, like... are you sure you're ready to take all this on?

Anyway, we all know how this story is going to end. (Giving away Hank and a posting whole lot of angry stories ranting at followers who are just trying to help because TRAUMA.)
Yes if/when the dog is rehomed I doubt any of it will be her fault, it was all circumstances beyond their control and they couldn’t have foreseen it. There won’t be any introspection (at least publicly) that maybe adopting an animal is a huge commitment, especially breeds like Hank, and that maybe you shouldn’t rush into something like that.

ty for making this thread, I felt like I was the only one slowly going mad seeing her stories! can't stand how she has to be right about everything and acts so self important. Her story today about not ever being able to say something snarky about someone.. but you're perfectly comfortable telling your followers to 'fuck off' and calling people cunts every other day for the smallest disagreements they have with you?

edited to add: and the dog!!!! where did his apparent anxieties come from, did the previous owner even tell her that he was nervous or did she make it up based on a couple of weeks with him? there were one or two attempts to walk him and then nothing.... and also all the weirdness around her 'adopting' a dog from a dodgy person (who charged her over £400!) after insisting for weeks that she would obviously only ever rescue, and she wouldn't be taken in by a breeding scam, and don't insult her intelligence by even suggesting otherwise... 🙄 if you were around about a year ago you'll remember the 'I would love a dog but OBVIOUSLY I'll never get one because I know I wouldn't be able to look after it and my lifestyle doesn't suit and CALM DOWN I'M NOT GETTING A DOG' stories

Seems to think she is a special snowflake who can say whatever the fuck she wants to other people but no one is allowed to say anything even vaguely critical or questioning to her (for example about plastic waste) without having the piss ripped or worse (is that supposed to be funny). Really hypocritical and self absorbed.
A while ago (post on 4 Feb) there was a comment that questioned how Sofie reacts to people and this was their response ...
What a weak excuse.

Seems like Sofie has made it to the front page of reddit, under the cringe subreddit 🤯

I can't seem to find the tweet, they must have deleted it - the comments on that subreddit are also usually incredibly hateful and directed - but why oh WHY would you tweet this?!
I don’t get how she’s making this into a race issue, it is a violence issue end of

Doesn’t Sophie always go on about listening to lived experience but I suppose it must only be the ‘right’ lived experience that fit in with their woke Olympics. I thought the woke were all about dismanteling the system in their analysis of things but no it’s rebel Wilson’s fault that the only roles she’s could get were the ‘fat comedian’ rather than Hollywood being misogynistic. 😤🤬🤯I cant stand the hypocrisy someone heeeeelp 😅🤣🤣
I listened to Louis theroux interviewing Lenny Henry, he talked about how At the start of his career he had to do mime work. I mean ffs?! Of course he didn’t want to, but he wanted a career, should he have made a stand? Would it have changed anything or would another black person be given the same, racist stereotypical work? Is it a fat ladies fault that we don’t have fat women as the sexy one or the hero of the movie?!

The joke is that Sofie thinks that any environmental issue presents an opportunity to remind us that individuals are in no way responsible for pollution and she doesn't care at all if they are
I'm pretty sure in an episode of Bad People (the one about environmental crime in Italy) Sofie admits to littering if there is a bin conviniently close to her 🤨
