She is a massive cock
If your income is that precarious that you're begging on Patreon then you probably shouldn't even adopt a pet for free, pet food is expensive and insurance and vet bills even more so!I am really intrigued how much she paid for this dog, dogs like this are expensive anyway, but since lockdown everyone seems to want pets and prices have risen insanely (ouble/triple in some cases) . How she could have bought something like this and then be begging for money on patreon makes me quite angry
I thought this! I unfollowed and don’t watch their content anymore (and just check in on this thread) because I either get upset or frustrated. I’m sure other people have felt similar, but it must be Insta’s fault? I’ve had a long break from ‘activist Instagram’ because I’d got myself into such a negative rut with the accounts I followed when I last posted on here - nothing good seemed to be happening and there was absolutely no joy on my feed. I thought it was important that I was aware but when it was the only content I was consuming, all it did was make me furious and I wanted to scream - how is that helpful to anyone? And I feel so much better and positive for having that break!Such lies! No way was she getting 60k views, ever! Maybe people don’t watch the videos because she’s so intolerant? And I can’t believe sofie doesn’t see the arrogance of ‘see someone else waded out to collect the scales from the river’. Sheesh she/they’re/he’s becoming insufferable! Unfollowed
I'm quite surprised to hear this as I've seen her being rude to people who replied to her story posts with questions about plastic waste, and on one of the Bad People podcasts she mithers on for ages about how she finds environment talk boring. (That's OK then, if it bores you, special Sofie, you are absolved of all responsibility to make ethical decisions. Better that the planet is destroyed than you spend one moment being boredThis actually really surprises me from Sofie. I used to listen to the Guilty Feminist religiously in its early years (its a bit too preachy lately but I still dip in occasionally).
I liked how they challenged the perceptions of beauty and make up and I remember they did an episode very early on about sustainable and ethical clothing. It really made me think about the way I shop and choose clothes. Influencers throwing mass made tat at us and telling us what we need while they profit from it has never sat right with me and its partly why I refuse to ever buy from an affiliate link or a company that uses these influencers (and I also couldn't stomach an influencer making money from me!).
So to see Sofie pairing with a company like ASOS and encouraging the swipe up for people to buy clothing that they probably don't need just feels like she's been completely hypocritical and disingenuous about the whole thing. Yes they're plus sized dungarees but that's not the point, it feels like she's part of a system that she rallied against and encouraged us to rally against too. Really disappointing!
Followed her for years, but unfollowed today. She just seems to have completely lost the plot. She keeps on asking for engagement. If anyone messages her anything that's slightly critical, she shares their message and tells them to fuck off. If anyone messages her anything sympathetic, she shares their message and tells them not to patronise her.Ugh she seems quite enraged all the time. I've really gone off her. No more podcasts by Sophie for me!
yes and he seems to cause her even more anxiety - she’s posted stories where she’s annoyed at him for snoring, or waking her up, or having an accident on the floor. He’s a dog, it’s not his fault. If you have bad anxiety and know you often have periods where you can't get out of bed for days then whyyy would you get a massive dog that clearly needs epic walks every day. Ugh it's so annoying.
This is probably the case, for me I often get stuck in a vicious cycle of poor mental health leading to poor eating which leads to worse mental health! I don't care what other people eat, but I can't imagine feeling great after eating all of those chocolate mousses for breakfast...I think a big problem is that her diet also probably negatively impacts her mental health tbh, all that junk food cannot make her feel good, mentally or physically
