This is on social media so I am sharing it. I’m beyond angry that a local CVS faces closure when so much money was thrown at Simon Harris.
This CVS does so much and I get so much support in my job from them. In addition they have been an amazing source of support for a charity I volunteer for.
Simon Harris isn’t responsible for their probable demise , Essex County Council holds huge responsibility though for throwing money at Simon instead of offering increased funding to the local CVS organisations who could have done so much with it,
Apologies if I have cut any of their statement off as my vision isn’t great.,
