In the comments, he’s posted a screenshot of an email from X confirming he reported the account for impersonation—as if that somehow proves it wasn’t him.

Because of course it’s totally unthinkable that he could’ve posted the tweets himself, realised just how far down the toilet his reputation had gone, and then reported the account to give himself a convenient escape route. Nooo waaaaay that could ever happen. Not a chance.

As someone else said: who would even bother impersonating this fuckwit? And why now? Just to post a handful of inane tweets that sound exactly like him?

God, he’s such an insufferable head.
He thinks we're all as thick as he is.

Bullying? 😂

I couldn't give a flying duck if he'd spearheaded the mot successful social media campaign of a generation, he is not, has never been and will never be worth half a million quid of public money.

The tragic boomer "I was hacked!" tit is bleeping embarassing too.

Can you delete comments on your tweets on twitter? If not, then I suspect that's why he cried to twitter to have the account closed. Thought he'd have a soft launch, didn't get the response he hoped, couldn't delete comments and gave up.

You can "hide" them, but people can still see them if they know where to look. He would have to hide every single reply and anyone who worked that out would have ridiculed him (even more).

Glad to see he still can't get any real engagement on his posts without resorting to piggybacking on other people's posts/actions. Even his remaining supporters are calling him out on his football opinions, I'm an Arsenal fan and it makes me cringe so no surprise they go down badly with others.

And he's still pushing his Octopus link. Times must be tight.

Octopus say:
[If] We have reason to believe you are sending or advertising your Personalised Link to people who are not known to you or if you are in any way trying to benefit from our referral scheme on a commercial basis rather than for personal use. We may review any account we think might be "taking the mickey" – particularly if we receive complaints from other customers, or if you have referred over 10 people in any 12 month period and we reserve the right to deactivate your Personalised Link or move you to a different scheme.

Careful, Simes.

Very interesting, thank you for this! As an Octopus customer of old, I’ve emailed them for some clarity around whether this constant sharing of the aff link is appropriate or not

He's probably doing it as a " internet prankster"
Dubious content. I wonder how many referrals he's had. Half a million quids worth ?

If they’re saying ten referrals in a year gets you a flag on their system, he can’t have had many to still be going undetected 😂

I did the same. Quite a few of us out there who referred to/were referred by people we know, i.e. "friends".

Amazing content. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Simon. You continue to enrich our lives and shake the foundations of society with your important but also humorous observations.

On another note. Has there ever been a man in history who spends more time in public toilets than Simon? Except maybe George Michael. Does he even have a toilet in his own house or does he have to go to Tesco every time he needs a tit?

He really is useless at the internet. Dull mens club has 1.7 million members on Facebook. I wonder in a pandemic you'd value that reach large boy. A trillion?
ETA, pounds I mean

He’s done impressive numbers on his latest side-splitting observational toilet humour though. 8 likes and 2 comments. Including an always-hilarious reference to running out of toilet roll from one of his maniac followers tee-hee-hee 🤭

Not bad for a social media legend with 279,000 followers 👏
