Yeah the image has so much redacted I don’t even know what is going on. Why are the Lib Dem’s involved? For calling him out or for going to Thailand? I see Simon jumped right on the homophobia and transphobia which is clear in the tweet.
Basically the original (I'm loath to post it because I don't want to feed into something that I think is nuts and potentially has some nutters who are acting scary and unacceptably (*), but next to Simon's image it has the names of companies on Companies House that Simon has been involved with (Kindsocialkindnesssocialness and the Crash Bang Wallop What A Video COVID loan ones)

Well it can't really be both. I think I'm getting a bit confused because I don't think men who go to ladyboys are gay, but I do think they're pretty crappy people. (Men not ladyboys) So I guess that I think they're perverts...I don't think ladyboys are trans either.

Ladyboy is a well known derogatory term. It might get “reclaimed” like “queer” does, but it’s designed to be offensive, and it’s being used offensively here.
If you don’t think ladyboys are trans (even though they are) then they’re gay, no? So saying a man who likes gay Thai men is a perv, is therefore homophobic. And a man who likes men being a perv is homophobic. And a man who likes transgender people being a p, is transphobic.
The correct term for third gender in Thailand is kathoey. A person usually transitions to kathoey; therefore they are transgender. Thai people don’t call them ladyboys, that’s just a tourist slur.

I see! Read more about it last night. I thought it was a slur because the men who visit prostitutes, particularly for the "novelty" of those who are half-and-half to put it bluntly and desperate for money to finish off their transition (I thought they didn't transition), are perverts. If they're trans then they're not men which is why I didn't get the homophobia... I thought it was a slur on the men who visit them and rightfully so IMO. It should be seen what it is, as exploiting poverty, but it's seen as a joke: a tourist attraction, like something you tick off in a guide book.
