Then, having taken out an enormous £21,000 tax payer funded loan, this media company, which was owned by a man who got paid in excess of half a million pounds for doing pandemic related media work, don’t forget, still managed to collapse leaving a trail of unpaid debts in its wake. There’s a circle that needs squaring please, Mr. Covid Commissioner.

What were the circumstances that led to the demise of D Media Ltd? Well, that remains a mystery for now because the company never submitted any accounts. What a fraudster.

World Book Day. My kids are in their 20s now but I remember cobbling together outfits for them as we didn’t have the cash to spend on ready-made. Some were truly shit. But they look back on that and laugh. And they laughed at the time.

I wouldn't say I'm against World Book Day but even as a qualified librarian I'm not keen on what it has become in a lot of places. I'd much rather it was framed more as 'let's talk about a book you love or find you a book to love, dress up as a character from a book you love if you want to but please don't bother to either spend a load of money or come in wearing a football top you already had because you got a football annual for Christmas once, and actually we'd rather you spent the money on ordering some shite costume from Amazon on buying an actual book' but I can see that's not as catchy.
