I haven’t followed her in a while but I just popped on to see that she is moaning. Again. That person wasn’t trolling her, just pointing out that she’s constantly whingeing about her baby and life. So tedious, I liked her home reno content and I don’t mind baby stuff (even warts and all) but don’t bitch and complain all the time. I cannot fathom how so many people follow her when she’s as dull as ditchwater.

Having watched the post physio story from the car I agree that she is really struggling with the transition into motherhood. It’s hit her really hard. I hope she accesses the support she appears to need and can start to enjoy motherhood.

It’s quite sweet that Terry buys cute little Harry Potter and Star Wars baby clothes.. Kind of feel like she disapproves but it’s nice that his personality shows through and that he’s interested. Some dads don’t buy a baby grow.

It is cute. I get the impression she will want to dress the baby in vintage old timey stuff and Terry is here buying slogan baby gros.

Part of her negativity and mindset is the fact that she hasn’t actually had a shower and got dressed. That was a non negotiable for me on maternity leave, slobbing around all day in pyjamas and feeling sorry for yourself helps no one Poor kid

She’s a snob. Formula isn’t good enough (.. but she will feed him the odd one when it suits). Disposable nappies aren’t good enough (.. but she’s still using a few a day).

Stop looking down your nose at these things Jodie, it doesn’t make you a better parent. I used formula and Pampers from day 1 and I had the happiest baby meaning I was happy too.

I can’t imagine she is a very compassionate midwife to be honest.

As a midwife you can rotate between antenatal, delivery suite / birth unit, postnatal or a specialised area such as continuity of care, safeguarding, breastfeeding etc. It’s part of the role and keeps all our skills fresh and up to date.

She’s moaning about breastfeeding but she was drastically against formula feeding. There’s no pleasing her.
