It's a cream product in a little pod and I realize only now that the name was wrong: It's called Repair mask, sorry about that!

I've used this bi-weekly, but had been introduced to it by my facial lady. It gets really, really hot on the face for ~10 min and then starts to cool down again and you'll look like a lobster for a bit. Great for battling impurities because you get much better blood circulation that flushes everything and it all looks really plump. i think the package mentioned that you could use it up to twice a week, but I don't have it anymore. I always used it the night before an event as a skin treat.

Thank you for that!! Might treat myself 🩷

I’ve been finishing up a lot of mini olaplex from gift bags and samples in the past year, my hair is very tangly I think as a result.
Wont be repurchasing apart from the leave in products like the oil, serum etc, those I like.

I have a huge bottle of olaplex shampoo and one of the conditioner. My hairdresser insists my hair needs it.
But my hair looks awful after using it, unless I follow up with the leave in cream and hair oil afterwards.
Honestly my hair seemed to take a lot less managing with good old Tresemme 😂
And I’ll never ever be free of Olaplex because the darned bottle lasts for a hundred years 😔 😂

It’s wild isn’t it, I almost got those on cult beauty last year. Think I’ll switch it out for Ouai and some K18 in the mix once they are done. Feels never ending honestly. I finish one and find another :ROFLMAO:

I've been trying the aldi version of opalex. Only need a tiny bit so will definitely last forever. I think it leaves a grimy film and I have really long think hair

I finished a bag of Westlab Cleanse & Refresh Bath Salts with Pink Grapefruit, Lemongrass and Seaweed. Usually get the plain Epsom Salts but thought this sounded nice. However I didn't like the smell very much and it left tiny little bits all over the bath which were a pain to clean off, so won't buy again.

Have repurchased the ordinary Westlab Epsom Salts.

Also finished a L'Occitane Shea Lip Balm (stick form), but it was only a teeny tiny one thrown in with a QVC TSV. I don't normally finish lip balms! Something always happens to them before I get to the end e.g. I drop them in the street, or I'm ill and don't want to use a germy one.

Now using another L'Occitane Shea Balm from my small stash, a squeeze tube one.

Oh, also used up a Garnier Delicate Oat shampoo. I love this, the first "supermarket" shampoo in ages that doesn't make my scalp awful (used to have to use T-gel). Refilled my bottle with an eco-refill.

That shampoo is truly amazing, I only discovered it a few weeks ago! My scalp is normally angry at me and itching and I need to use Ketozolin shampoo, but the oat shampoo seems to work very nicely so far!

I have psoriasis mainly on my scalp. It gets worse in the winter months. I’ve been using T-Gel but it really dries out my hair.
Do you think the Garner Oat shampoo would be suitable for me?

I have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp, I usually use t gel or Nizoral, but I found the dermaxpro range at boots and I’ve been loving it, it feels so nice and cooling on my scalp

there’s also a good aveeno oat milk shampoo :) if either of these help x

Thank you. I shall take a look.
I was using Body Shop Ginger shampoo which seemed to work but after a while, like other scalp products, it stops working.

I've also get seborrheic dermatitis and the Aveeno wasn't good for me. It also did nothing to make my hair look or feel good.
I can use H&S fairly long term and Vosene and BS Ginger for a month or so at a time. Selenium Sulfide Selsun is my go to if I get a flare up and it generally clears it quickly, it used to be on prescription but now you have to buy it on Amazon. Betacap lotion helps if it's really bad.

I'm desperate to find something 'off the shelf' that doesn't scream "dry scalp" from the bottle and smell/feel medicated but spend a fortune on things that used to work or that'll work for a week then flare me. I might give this Garnier a bash for the price, I remember the conditioner being alright 🤞

Other than steroid lotions which I have managed to avoid using for years, the only other thing that used to completely clear my scalp of psoriasis was when I had a perm in the 80s! I don’t know if it was the neutraliser or one of the other perm solutions that once applied made my scalp burn (but a good burn!) and then my psoriasis was gone for ages.
I need to get perms fashionable again! 😜😆

I’ve sebhorroic scal eczema and have used Selsun in the past when things got bad but it’s not available here anymore. I’ve switched to Ketozolin which works very well and has the benefit of not smelling terrible, but it does leave the hair dry.
The Garnier oat milk shampoo so far hasn’t triggered a flare up, even though it’s the perfect time of year for me for that with high humidity.

Sorry to hear it didn’t work for you! My scalp eczema is usually okay, if I don’t use any stripping shampoos on my hair. I haven’t tried the selsun though. I find that if I use a nourishing shampoo and occasionally use the dermaxpro one and the Nizoral once a week, along with washing my hair every 3 days, it keeps it under control.

When I use more expensive shampoos (like Amika), my scalp felt tight and itchy, so I stopped using those. :(

Are there any products you wish were empty?

My current two that are like the endgame:
  • 11ml bottle of nail oil. I'm simply not a nail oil person. Can't stand having it on my nails, can't stand the smell, etc. I knew I wasn't a nail oil person when I bought it and here I am. Peer-pressured by a nasty look a coworker gave my nails.
  • The last remains of a 30gr pouch of silk poweder I bought ages ago. I use it on my face to mattify. It does work, but it's a little bit too matte for me, and I don't like the powders granularity, it's not as fine as true cosmetic powder. I hope I get through it this year.

Yes, 2 big tubs of Prai neck cream (1 day, 1 for night) which seem endless. I can’t even slap loads on because if you put too much on it pils. 🤬 Perhaps I need to give myself permission to just get rid.

I’m using a nail oil up they last forever!! But I’ve been adding a bit to my hand cream on a night and it’s gradually going down a bit more. Also trying to get through a stash of fruit and green tea which I don’t even like

Inecto body lotion, grapefruit scented. Nice enough but just too light for my thirsty skin. It's like the gift that keeps on giving as it takes ages to absorb yet is light in texture and it's taking ages to get through the bottle 😂

I mostly give away things I don't like to younger family members, but then I feel as if I'm wasting so much money as I'm buying twice. So recently made the decision to use all products up before buying a replacement. It's saving me money but making me think about products I like. Sometimes worth paying a little more if I like it and it works for me.

Recent empties: boots version of corsodyl which I swill after water flossing just in case 😂 I buy this as it’s cheaper than corsodyl. I have sensitive teeth/gums so only a few times a week as it does stain apparently?

Avene eau thermal - love this, will buy on repeat forever to hydrate between layers of skincare.

eucerin 5% urea original - on my nth repurchase of this as it is fab for the many stubborn dry patches I get

nyx brow pencil - on my nth of this as well, exactly like the Anastasia one and 1/3 the price if on offer.
