Loving this thread. I have pretty much decided on all my skincare and hair favourites so now I'm using up all the 'also rans' before I'm allowed to purchase my favourites again.

Have finished up:
- two Aldi day creams, both had active anti aging ingredients which I don't want any more as I use prescription tretinoin in the evening and want something very bland for the day.
- two conditioners, one was my son's strawberry kids stuff that he thinks he's too grown up for now 😄 one was Mane n Tail. Have repurchased my favourite, 'Bond' from Aldi (Olaplex dupe).
- one multivitamin with collagen, will repurchase but not until I've finished the half empty bottle of normal multivitamins.
- looking forward to finishing a greens powder that I'm adding to my smoothies. It's ok but not as nice as the chlorella greens I purchased afterwards. But doggedly working through it so I can go back to the nice stuff !

Still to go: lots of body lotion! Why did I buy them when I never use body lotions? 😄😭

Some empties from me:

• Amika mirrorball shampoo - made my scalp dry and didn’t really make my hair any shiner. I’ve replaced it with Elvive hydra hyaluronic shampoo which so far, I prefer more

• Ordinary hyaluronic acid - it’s okay, I prefer the drunk elephant b hydra instead, which is my holy grail. So I won’t repurchase the ordinary one

• bath and body works - warm vanilla sugar spray. Smells nice, barely lasts, I put it in the bathroom and it was used up quickly

Just the 2 empties today, both CT make up.
Finished up the CT airbrush flawless finish pressed powder and the Hollywood contour wand. Both are brilliant products imo
There's lots of dupes of the CT wands out now...Elf, Primark and Revolution to name a few x

Another Cowshed shower gel (mini) cant remember which one it was but I liked the smell, not sure if I'd pay £22 for a bottle though.

NYX butter gloss in Madeline- Love this and have purchased another one.

Inkey List Peptide Moisturiser.
Bought this in Home Bargains for about a fiver when I was about to run out of moisturiser. It wasn’t anything special. It moisturised my skin but I don’t feel the peptides did anything extra. Would buy again if I needed a cheap every day moisturiser to tide me over but since buying I've received lots in beauty boxes that I need to use first.

Urban Decay Primer Potion.
Had this for a very long time - too long. Not sure it really did anything. Probably wouldn't repurchase because I always forget to use an eye primer.

Lidl Cien Q10 intense night cream. Will buy again as can't beat it for the price. It's similar quality to the Nivea Q10 cream.

UKLash serum. My eyelashes have never been so long and thick.

Bedhead shampoo and conditioner. Not the cheapest but the bottles are huge and you only need a tiny amount of each so they last ages.

SBC Propolis and Safflower Hand & Foot Cream
This was my Dad’s. 🥰 Tbh I prefer Flexitol for removing hard skin. I feel the SBC is more for maintenance. My Dad loved it and used it daily so the fragrance was very comforting for me. I still have another unopened one that was his which I will use once I’ve got rid of all the hard skin properly.

Simple cleansing wipes- I use these as a first cleanse to take off my makeup then I follow with a cleansing wash etc.

Nivea lip balm. Love it but I prefer a tube.
Garnier spf 50 fluid. Won’t repurchase, it was quite drying even on my oily skin.

Finished the Biossance Squalane & Omega Repair Cream. Think this is the third jar of this cream that I have used up, I really like it. I find I only need a small amount and my skin drinks it up. I use it as a night cream and always find my skin feels soft and smooth in the morning. Have another cream to use up before I either repurchase this one again or try something else.

L’Oréal Wonder water - I’ve had this an age and only just used it regularly. I wasn’t convinced it was useful but there have been some rave reviews on here so I think I’ll pick up another when my stash dwindles since 8 seconds is convenient in the pool shower (will be avoiding “apply to freshly shampooed hair and leave for 20 mins before rinsing and conditioning” products once I get through the ones I already have - ain’t nobody got time for that)

Sanctuary body scrub - also had an age, not scrubby but thick so less easy to use than shower gel

Biovene retinol moisturiser - another one that definitely does something as I suffered when overused but I don’t have a place for it just now in my settled routine

Artiscent Atelier Women Patchouli Passion - nice perfume for a cheapy everyday wfh but not as nice as others I already have

I'm using he Biovene retinol one too. Like you I can't use it daily either but it's great when I do use it.

Came to the end of the Lidl Q10 day moisturiser yesterday so went to see what home bargains had to offer. They're selling the Edelweiss Body Shop day cream for £3.99. Bought one and looked online and it was previously £30 approx. Used it today and it feels lovely. May pop back and get some more while it lasts x

Omorovicza Moor Cream Cleanser
Received this in one of those Cult Beauty GWP beauty bags.
Was a nice cleanser but I don’t think it’s worth the price tag of £62 for150ml!! 😮
Wouldn’t repurchase due to price. If I wanted another mud cleanser I’d buy the Pixi one at £18 for 125ml.

Finished the Aldi dupe of the L'occitane shea butter hand cream and really liked the Aldi product so will repurchase this.

Also finished a Burts Bees Ultra Moisturising lip balm which was awful and made my lips feel dry rather than moisturised so I won't be buying this again.

Just finished transformulas miracle marine cream. Absolutely loved it!! But so friggin hard to get hold of. Have only been able to get it on jet 2 airplanes (how specific I know!!) or eBay - but I’m dubious of fakes.
Luckily I have one more in stock - such a luxurious yet light weight moisturizer that’s not greasy and just seems to agree with my sensitive acne prone skin

Yes, isn't it a really weird paradox that lip balm dries your lips, so you use frequently to moisturise so they get drier. I find the more you use the more you need.

Loving reading everyone's repurchases.
