Ugh, bloody Brexit. Utter crap.Same.
What are you wanting it for? Tretinoin or because it's tailored for your skin issues?

I got my differin from boots online pharmacy. Just did a quick online consultation and it was prescribed within 24 hours and with me within 72.Differin but Ive found a retinal that suits me so I live without it.
Wow really!??? That's amazing! How does differin work compared to retinol?I got my differin from boots online pharmacy. Just did a quick online consultation and it was prescribed within 24 hours and with me within 72.
It's a retinoid. I wanted tret and since it's such a pain to get in the UK someone suggested Diff as an alternative. It's also meant to be less harsh than tret but, hopefully, as efficient. I think they are stronger than retinols.Wow really!??? That's amazing! How does differin work compared to retinol?
That's class!! Did you have to build up your skin's tolerance to it??It's a retinoid. I wanted tret and since it's such a pain to get in the UK someone suggested Diff as an alternative. It's also meant to be less harsh than tret but, hopefully, as efficient. I think they are stronger than retinols.
It cost me £28 all in but it's a large tube so should last a few months, and therefore is cheaper than Skin&Me.
Last night was my first use so I don't know how my skin will react but since it's less harsh I'm hoping no! If my skin gets dry I'll sandwich it between moisturise until I can tolerate it better. That's class!! Did you have to build up your skin's tolerance to it??
Im in ROI. That is not available here.I got my differin from boots online pharmacy. Just did a quick online consultation and it was prescribed within 24 hours and with me within 72.
What’s your other holy grail SPF? I love the Garnier one too, so I’m curious to know!Hair:
VO5 hair oil - invisibly light. My hair loved this but replaced with Revlon Orofluido oil elixir to change it up. I like this but it’s very different to the VO5 as it’s thicker.
T-Gel shampoo. Does what I need it to do - replaced with the same.
*Would also recommend the garnier oat milk shampoo range. Doesn’t set my scalp off. I also use the colour wow colour security shampoo (I don’t have coloured hair) and find it great at removing build up which helps with my scalp.
Skincare:
Sali Hughes Revolution - Vit C. Liked this, would repurchase when on offer, just not a fan of Sali so feel a bit torn buying it. I used to use a Bliss Vit C serum but struggle to find it now.
Garnier Vit C Brightening Serum - didn’t finish as my skin hated this. Too many actives in one product so I’ve allowed myself to bin it.
Garnier Invisible Serum face SPF. One of my two holy grail spf. My skin loves it so replaced with the same.
Simply Water Boost Hydrating Booster - really rate this, often on offer on Amazon for £1-£2. Really effective for the price but wish it came in a bigger tube. Have another in my stash to use.
Caroline Hiron’s Cream Cleanser - purchased one of the mini boxes she did for the other items and this was in there. Would not repurchase, took ages to use up as I kept pushing it to the back of the cupboard. I didn’t find it effective for make up removal, made my flannel smell greasy and the product itself smells like bad PVA glue. She’s an oaf too but I clearly have no morals as I purchased it in the first place. Have a Heimish cleansing balm on the go I’ve replaced it with that was a repeat purchase.
Cosrx low ph cleanser - very simple and easy, no frills. Replaced with a Shiseido one from my stash but would repurchase in future.
Aldi Lacura Intensive eye cream - for the price point I really like this. Use to layer over an eye gel and my skin really likes it. Will purchase if/when I see it again in Aldi.
Lip balms - I so relate on a level in that I religiously pop it on before bed and in the morning as part of my skincare routine. But I don’t panic if I don’t have one near etc so don’t think I’m addicted but is that something an addict would say?!![]()
My other holy grail SPF is the Eucerin Oil Control Gel Cream - more of a summer one for me but I really like it and it sits well under make up, doesn’t pill etc. I’m quite fussy about the texture of SPF and this one is really nice and to me doesn’t feel like SPF at all. Obviously doesn’t leave my skin as glowy looking as the Garnier one but works really well in warmer weather. Last summer Boots had it on their tenner Tuesday deal a lot. What’s your other holy grail SPF? I love the Garnier one too, so I’m curious to know!![]()
It all counts!I’ve had a contour stick from fenty for like 5 years lol, I’ve used up so much, but it’s never endingand recently it’s started to smell like a crayon lol 🥲 I’ve had to bin it. Is that an empty? Or a declutter?
