Just the 2 empties today, both CT make up.
Finished up the CT airbrush flawless finish pressed powder and the Hollywood contour wand. Both are brilliant products imo
There's lots of dupes of the CT wands out now...Elf, Primark and Revolution to name a few x

I really rate NYX for the price. I love their brow products too!

I really like elf too, the highlighters/contours, primers and putty blush are great also. Maybe I’ll try the elf oil this time!

Smashbox Photo Finish primer. Had it ages because I always forget to use one.
Wouldn‘t repurchase purely because I’ve a gazillion other primers to use up from beauty boxes.
Not sure if primers do much tbh.

1. Indeed Labs Retinol Reface - I’ve been using this for years. I know prescription tretinoin is best and I think as I get older I’ll move onto that but this just helps so much with very fine lines and texture and brightness. It beats all the other retinoids I’ve tried by miles but again haven’t tried prescription

2. Dr Jart Ceramidin skin barrier cream. I find this makes my skin feel really soft and plump and was a lifesaver when I fucked my skin barrier so have repurchased.

3. Drunk Elephant Bouncy BrightFacial. First time I’ve spent more than £50 on a product (most things in rotation are between £10-£30, except the ceramidin cream). I guess I did notice some brightening but I just felt it was kind of meh. You don’t get much product either.

473ml bottle of Cerave hydrating cleanser. I really rate this stuff, think this was my fourth bottle and they last ages, however I hate the pump. Impossible to get the last inch or so out without diluting it and then it’s still a mess. I also wish they just sold a refill pouch. Haven’t repurchased because of this reason and will try something new.

And two more!

  • Bioré sun Watery Essence SPF 50 Peony Edition. I know I keep going on about this sunscreen also in the other beauty thread. It is simply the best, repurchasing for years and years, opened the next one (regular edition) today.
  • Inkey List Omega Water Cream. It's an okay moisturizer, very bland. In fact, so bland I won't repurchase it. It's not bad though.

Bondi Sands face fluid SPF 50 - used about 1/3 of it and won't be finishing as it clogged my pores so bad, my skin feels like the surface of the moon🥲 (and I use salicylic acid twice a week!). It was also quite greasy, my face was super shiny an hour after applying it. Such a shame as it's really affordable and offers great UVA and UVB protection.

Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing balm - got this in a beauty box.
i really liked this. It smelt lovely, like a spa treatment and removed all my make up without leaving a residue. I would repurchase if it was on offer but I’ve a few other cleansers to use up first.

Any empties or just things sold in boots? And is it points when you purchase, points when you recycle or both? Sorry if this is a daft question, I'm totally out the loop with loyalty schemes.
Any empties! Doesn’t have to be from boots. I know they allow a lot of baby stuff too, like baby wipe packets, food packets I think? They’re very generous with what they allow. So you get the “recycle at boots” app, and take pictures of your empty items and they get approved within 24 hours. When you have 5 items, you go to boots, deposit them and they give you a voucher. You activate it, and within 30 mins you need to scan it and pay.

so I use that time to browse, get what I need etc, and at the till I scan the voucher and my advantage card, and pay. The 500 points then go on my card :)

I only started doing it recently but it does really add up, especially if you’re buying toiletries and stuff anyway.

Two empties from me!

• Lush “honey i washed the kids” shower gel - Smelled kind of weird, like honey that was going off 😭 if that even makes sense. Basically smelled way too strong and it separated in the bottle and was a bit slimy. Glad I only got a mini

• Givenchy L’interdit 30ml perfume - This is soooo lovely, I don’t really have anything else like it in my collection so I think I’ll miss it a lot, but I just have so much perfume. It doesn’t last very long but I love the smell 💗

Empties finally! (I can finally contribute to the thread 😂) Very basic stuff.

-a bottle of dove deodorant (I found 10 half empty bottles 😂). On the way to using them all up in favour of AKT balm instead.

-L’Oréal elvive hair oil - wouldn’t repurchase. Too heavy.

-Simple face wash - would possibly repurchase as a basic cleanser. But prefer my liz Earle cleanse and polish.

I also finished a shower gel today - Warm vanilla sugar by bath and body works. Really lovely scent, already replaced it with another B&BW one (Dahlia). I’m running low on my shower gel stock 😂

my hand cream stock however, is overflowing and I’ll never make a dent in it 😅 I have about 30 different ones! 😢

pantene keratin mask. I liked it, it makes me hair feel nice and I would repurchase it. I won't because it's the year of less however...

Geek and Gorgeous 0.05% retinal serum. My first retinitis in about seven years, didn’t touch them since a the Ordinary one left my skin hanging off me. I fully recommend this one, I had zero irritation and no breakouts. I’ve moved on to the next higher strength.
