Mitchum stick here too.

I use a fragrance free soap bar all over to make sure I’m actually washing stuff off and not masking odour (even nice odour like perfume/body cream). You’d be surprised how often you’ll soap up but can still smell say a sun cream on your skin after rinsing.

If anyone really suffers with odour Hibiscrub is a body wash they use pre/post surgery. It kills all bacteria, yeast etc on the skin and stops it forming for hours. (Can’t get it in your eye or ears etc)
Clinisooth/Clinisept+ skin is another anitmicrobial that’s a watery spray, similar deal.
A bit like spraying dettol on a surface but for the body.

They can also help with broken skin conditions like eczema and acne, backne, cuts and abrasion etc, anything where bacteria can worsen them so not a bad ‘fist aid’ kind of item to have in.

Emptied a box of Tampax Compact and am now precariously embarking on my menstrual cup journey. I still have lots of pads which I'll use to gauge how useful the cup is, then hopefully empty those and just be on the cup and period pants. Anything I need to know/expect? Thanks
If you have a coil fitted I don't think you're meant to use cups. If you've not got a coil then you should be grand! 😊

Finished my last skin&me tube before trying differin.

Also finished up a tub of Elemis pro collagen night cream. I had a sample and really loved it so bought the full size but now I'm kinda over it. It pilled over my skin&me regardless of how long I left it between steps and over time I started to dislike the smell. I still have the day cream to finish...

I tried the L'oreal Wonder water instead (same type of product, lamellar water) and it is surprisingly really good. Can't go wrong for a fiver on offer in Boots. A noticeable difference when I use this, finished the bottle and going to repurchase.
I've been using this for a couple of years, and love it! I get it on Amazon subscribe and save as it's always around £5 or less, then get a 15% s&s discount. I think the usual £10 is too expensive in Superdrug/Boots etc and hate having to wait around for an offer!

Dr Dennis Gross Fill + Repair serum.
This was a travel size received in GWP beauty bag.
It was okay, didn’t do anything exceptional to my skin but obviously I only had about 2 weeks worth of a product so not long enough to tell. The full size is about £75 so I won’t be repurchasing.

Does the Jeju moisturiser have a strong scent ? What Is the texture like ?

I’ve been toying with the idea of trying it for a while but I’m so fussy with scents and texture. My favourite was the QI but I’ve used up all my stash and it is no more 🥺
Scent wise there is a soft scent when smelling the pot but it’s only slight once you’ve taken what you need and I don’t find it noticeable.
Texture wise I would say it’s different - it comes with a little spatula as it’s quite ‘firm/solid’ but it then rubs in really easily and absorbs quickly. Sounds odd but I quite liked that it wasn’t a ‘wet’ feeling cream.

I never used the QI one - does annoy me how they suddenly stop products with what feels like no warning!

Do you know if you can get a tester of AKT? As don't want to spend out that much if it doesn't work for me!
I was looking at trying AKT (thanks to this thread!) and it says on their website they have a 30 day money back guarantee. You can ask for a full refund after 14 days of using the product and they will refund you.

I found a 25% discount code, but you have to pay for postage so it seems to work out better to subscribe for just 1 tube - then cancel the subscription afterwards!
