I closed both bedroom doors earlier to keep the downstairs warm.

Jimmy was very outraged when he (eventually, after several hours of sleeping) found out about it.

I had to open the doors for him once again.

Bless him, but he got himself into a right state as he couldn't decide which bedroom to check on first, so stood there moving his head from one door to the other for about 10 seconds before diving into the spare bedroom, going "All good" and then diving into the main bedroom.

They shouldn't eat it, that is why @ThisIsMyDragName said that "thankfully the one thing she is not bother about is chocolate".
As in, the cat eats everything but thankfully won't eat chocolate because chocolate is toxic to cats.

@ThisIsMyDragName My cat also likes to sniff all my food & drink. She also likes to take a lick or a bite sometimes. Unfortunately, she does like chocolate spreads, so I have to be careful with that.
Jimmy only really likes cream and is not really into anything else that I eat. He'll demand a taste of something and cry and cry until I give him a bit but he only manages a nibble or a couple of licks before leaving it be. Which is handy as the vet has said no 'people food'.

A previous cat would refuse all cat food for a week or two and would only eat cooked chicken instead, but it had to be the proper carved breast stuff. That and raw red meat - the bloodier the better.

Little girls birthday today (probably not accurately, I just found it on some vet records of her so decided to celebrate) she (and her little brother) were given chicken for breakfast as a treat, she's been uncharacteristically friendly all day 😅

No advice, but what a gorgeous little boy 🥰 looks so contented
He's spoiled like a little king. Heated pad on a fur throw, fresh prawns every day, steak more bloody often than I have it I'll say that much!!

I swear he's playing kitty Stevie Wonder to get more out of me.

I do love a kitty belly to rub, both of ours love it, our previous cat, you'd be lucky to escape with a minor injury 😻.
Jimmy is quite relaxed about tummy rubs.

A previous cat would offer her tummy and I would oblige every time even knowing it was all a cunning plan to scratch and bite me.

She would get very upset if I failed to offer my hand for a mauling the contrary little minx.

blimey! Mine is interested in foamy milk on coffees but we’ve not made one of them in ages! This morning she tried to drink from a washing up bowl of water that had been used to give the carpet a scrub after she’d had a tiny mishap with something stuck to her when she came out of her litter tray. Delightful! (She has a fresh water bowl, we let her drink out of the tap when she asks for it, we once spent about £40 quid on a fancy water machine designed to look like the sink and a tap and she HATED it because of course she did 🙄)
My parents got one of those water fountains for their cats, never used at all. Mine both drink quite a lot of water(compared to other cats I've had) but would never drink from a bowl, they only like drinking from glasses, which means in practice that in hot weather my flat is full of water glasses on the floor for the cats while I only drink out of bottles so I can be sure my water hasn't been drunk from by the cats 😅

The baddest of our cats is a mighty hunter, and just brought in a bird, which we removed. He’s now roaming round the house, shouting his little furry head off. The bastard. He looks like butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth but he’s the most prolific hunter I’ve ever been owned by.

Not as exciting in any way as @Lauryloo news but I went to the pet shop to pick up some stuff and for the first time toys I got were appreciated. Ignore all of the background chaos as usual, little boy in his new tunnel with his catnip toy while big sister watches 😅

I got Boss#1 3 months ago yesterday. I've heard her meow only few times, it's so soft & quiet. Boss#2 will be with us 3 months tomorrow, I've heard her meow way more often but it's also a very quiet & soft meow.
It's so strange because neither cry for meals at all. My last cat had a super strict routine & would cry well before hand to get us ready for meal times. She would also meow just to chat to me. I miss her so much.
I had thought both cats were improving, trusting us more & being more friendly with us, but nope. Ever since I took off Boss#2 onsie after she got her stitches from being spayed removed, she hasn't cuddled with me at all. She has even stopped sleeping in with me at night. Boss #1 is still running if we get anyway close to her.
Tbh it's like not even having cats only that I feed them and their litter needs scooped daily. Actually their litter needs scooped each time they've used it bc a) it stinks & b) Boss #1 still thinks she is outside and is trying to bury her scent & so just makes a mess shredding everything.
I just want them to be happy here with me & let me brush them & cuddle them.

She was always rolling about to exhibit her exuberance.

Ooh I love this house.
Mate, this is great hanging outwith a pony.
We're on an emergency road trip for your parents?
Cool tent, love the beach

Bossy's pedigree name was X Little Blossom (my choice, it had to start with L to show the breeder's number of litters.) Her pet name was going to be Blossy, but she marched into our home and sorted out the two older male cats within minutes. They adored her.

But her name also is because of the campaign "ban bossy" which some people came to think was a bit flawed, but I loved it. At the end, Beyonce says, "I'm not bossy; I'm the boss". Niiiice!

I’ve just witnessed Nala eating a whole bird! It was a small one! She had bought it to the door so as opened the door it was on the floor! I walked out n said I’d deal with it once I’d put my washing out! Course she ran off with it…came back and she was sat on the door mat eating it! Leaving a few feathers and its guts! Literally all of it even the bones!!
Why oh why!!!

Our little girl is 2 tomorrow!

We've only had her for 7 months but I feel like some kind of proud parent knowing it's her birthday tomorrow. She's going to wake up to a lovely tunnel she can run through, and some rattling mice to destroy 😂 I even got her a little party hat! Is this what it means to be full blown crazy cat lady?
