YES!!!! More people need to realise that just because it’s ’curriculum’ doesn’t make it compulsory! They are our children not the schools we choose what they do and don’t do!

But Ela loves swimming. She always asks to go swimming when they’re on holiday. The least she could do is let her have lessons.

Exactly and it’s also about Ela getting some independence and socialising so she can grow up more and start acting her age instead of acting and speaking like she’s 2 years old. Will she just miss out on joining in on everything because of her parents not teaching her or getting her lessons?

I completely understand there’s situations were a child might have a medical problem that they can’t go swimming or like someone else said their child is autistic and was frightened to swim so they removed them from swimming which I respect because you have to do what’s right for your child of course but in Ela’s case it’s just that her parents are too lazy to get her swimming lessons and too lazy to teach her how to be independent and try something new.

What’s holding Ela back from doing a lot of things is Sevda because Sevda treats her like she’s a baby. It’s different if a child has Autism or something else I understand that but Ela is just very far behind for her age because of her parents and she isn’t encouraged or helped by her parents at all cause they can’t be bothered. Can she even ride a bike? from what we’ve seen she can’t and that’s really sad cause she has two parents who could easily make time to teach her.

That’s not what I’m saying at all. I agree she should be going swimming. I’m just saying that in general just because it’s the curriculum it isn’t compulsory.

The twolls on tiktok gave her this new life hut she continues to stage them off, you wouldn't be going on these hundreds if holidays or have a new car or bafroom if it wasn't for the twolls sevda

Also, I find it cringe she uses her daughters name in her username

A lot of children by this age have after school activities such as swimming lessons, Judo, football and even skiing to name but a few.

Sev can’t lose control, even down to school trips she drives Ela instead of letting her go on a coach because “she gets travel sick” she seems perfectly fine when you go on all your holidays and stick her in front of her iPad!
My daughter is a year above Ela in school and she does swimming, gymnastics, multisports, girls brigade. There’s sooo much for kids to do to help them develop and socialise but the only socialising sev cares about is her own!! All elas friends are because sev is friends with their parents. As a teacher, as someone has said you can choose to keep your children from any part of the curriculum but we only encourage it if it is completely necessary like medical reasons, autism, religion etc. Ela is so far behind for her age though with non of these things playing a part in it and watching peppa pig, opening her advent calendars for her, sticking her in front of an iPad and taking her out of school during term time for two weeks in turkey for a dentist appointment is going to help her get to where she needs to be!

I’d give anything to go back to when my kids were 7 and Christmas was magical, they’re 11 and 13 now and while it’s still lovely it just isn’t the same as when we had the whole Santa bit.

I’d completely sympathise if sevda was strapped for cash and couldn’t afford to buy ela very much but we all know that isn’t the case, she’s just tight and relying on other people to pick up the slack in terms of Ela’s Christmas presents.

Me too, it's the excitement of them doing a list then opening their presents to see if Santa brought what they asked for, the whole build up is special too.
Does Sev even do Santa? I cant remember and I'm not that brave to go back on videos.
I know Sedat stayed in bed last Christmas morning but I dont remember much after that

Anyone else spy the thermomix in the back of this mornings videos? Fuming if she’s been gifted one of those. She’ll never use it. She can barely put food in the air fryer and without asking mummy for help!

No way, I know someone who has one but they are nothing like Sevda, her cooking does not require one.

Ela is 7 and still watches peppa pig. How sad.
She is also walking around hugging a “blankie” 🙃 I can understand having a teddy in bed at night but that’s ridiculous. I’m sure when she’s older, she will be thrilled that’s posted on the internet for all to see

I miss those days 2,my son is 16 now and I miss making anything christmasy, cards, decorations the lot. Baking so many goodies to give out to friends and family. Going to see santa and just generally getting excited about the whole thing. Obviously she is far too busy to do anything like that,it's such a shame. They are only young for a short while, you've got to make the most if it.

She's only been back just over a week. Keep removing that kid from school is having an impact on her speech and development and also her attitude. How is she ever going to cope at secondary school or hold down a job if she doesn't understand rules and discipline?

I bet it will be gifted, I’ve seen another tiktoker get gifted one. And sev is way too tight to buy it herself
