Can't say I'm surprised, Kasabian always came across as a bunch of laddish, misogynistic yobs so it's little surprise their leader turned out to be a wifebeating thug.

Let's hope that's the end of that dreadful band!

She was never a fan of Barbara Windsor, said she was basically a gangsters moll type and got on because of her underworld connections to the Krays and others. Barbara's first husband Ronnie Knight went on the run for about 10 years in Spain (back in the days when it was the Costa del Crime etc) after being involved in a robbery in the early 1980s.

It’s a bit like the circus has come to town. Four lines of coke and a pint of whiskey for lunch! I think they enabled each other , not sure there are any ‘winners’

Yes I think that's true. I think Vanessa Paradis kept him on the straight and narrow then he met someone who didnt give a stuff/ actively encouraged his drinking/ drugs/ behaviour and he decided that was more fun. A bit like Ben Affleck and Jennife Garner although their kids are still minors so she can call him to account a bit more still to protect the kids.

Some of the tweets I saw in relation to Jodie Comer and her boyfriend were people expressing upset that she'd done a reading of a poem for Pride and then is dating someone who supports right wing ideas.

I selling Socialist Worker when I was 7. I'm completely centre left now and loathe what the far left has done to the Labour Party.
