I just read this ... his totally wrong to even speak out on this. Obviously it's a topic his not had any experience in.

Unfortunately for us 'lucky ones' who have been through it. I can say from my own experience I was too emotionally controlled to have the confidence to speak out. My ex always made me believe it was my fault and no one would believe me.
He also hurt me in places I could cover up like my arm or my leg.
I had a young child and for some reason didnt want to be a single mum. I was made to believe I needed him as a provider. ( He used to say he earned double my salary etc)
I used to live in a terraced house and have no idea if my neighbours heard anything.
Victims of violence are scared and need someone to help them. The only reason i eventually found the courage to speak out was because I went to work with blood pouring down my head after he strangled, kicked me and head butted me!

I for one having gained controlled of my life and stood up to an abuser would never want someone to not speak out.

I met the gorgeous Tom Hardy on a night out in Richmond a few years back. Me and my friends were waiting for a taxi outside the lovely restaurant Rock and Rose when Mr Hardy strolled past, dressed very inconspicuously, walking his two dogs. On the Tom Hardy height issue, a friend was at a Peaky Blinders premiere in Birmingham where lots of fans were waiting outside to watch the stars walk the red carpet. I think I might be the only person left on earth who still thinks he was somehow mentally trapped in childhood and didn’t do the things he was accused of.
I’ve seen the documentary, and I believe that because of the way he would pick people (Boys) up and drop them when a new favourite came along, that the allegations were borne out of bitterness - they got used to being the centre of his attention and the fame/lifestyle and couldn’t handle it when he ditched them - and that the accusers are so convincing because they’ve been repeating it over and over for so many years.
I’m not even a big MJ fan, and no doubt he was messed up, but I just do not believe that he was an abuser. I don’t think there’s any concrete evidence is there?!

Interesting! My son has “Crohns Colitis” (basically a new term to describe why he doesn’t need a resection) on the prednisone he went up to 14 stone but then within two months of coming off it - sunken eyes, 28” waist, etc. Seems as if the comedown from stopping treatment just wastes the body away

Not necessarily. Most Crohns patients are initially underweight anyway (which you would know) So by the time steroid treatment starts, it puts the weight back on that you would have lost because of the constant going to the loo. Also, I found that steroid treatment gave me back my energy, which the Crohns just drained from me. I was in hospital for 3 months, ended up in intensive care, in an induced coma due to the complications of my emergency op. I was in a wheelchair for weeks, and had to learn to walk again. It was horrific. My family were told I might die, my teenage son was brought in to say goodbye to me because the doctors didn’t know if I would make it. I lost 6 stone in weight, and it’s taken me years to even get my life back. I’m sorry to hear your son has Crohns. It’s a horrible illness.
