Exactly what I was going to say. She was too emotionally fragile for tv work.
I think she wanted to be famous and was too fragile an ego to be able to deal with it, depressive people are very much prone to outbreaks of violence and un rational behaviour it's a shame but she should have got out of that horrendous business . Someone like her is just canon fodder for people to abuse and mistreat bless her.

All I've ever read online and heard about Holly Willoughby on various forums is that she's unpleasant and changes the second the cameras go off, and has the high school bully personality. Yet @lavenderdilly (not sure if I got that right) said she's lovely. Not saying lavender is lying, but perhaps she is different around friends and when she's partying compared to the people underneath her that she works with.

I've heard the same regarding HW. The likeable, giggling, pretty girl next door switches off when the cameras do and a personality like Meryl Streep's character in The Devil Wears Prada emerges.

I might be getting some genuine gos re Hewhocannotbenamed! My Wonderfully successful friend is coming back to London in the Summer, so I will be putting in my Louis Theroux hat in, (not the one he had for Savile) and questioning her closely.

I can’t promise anything like sex parties etc, it may well be “he’s lovely and great to work with”, knowing my luck.
Praise be! I set up a new user name but I have been on this thread from day 1. We can help you compile a list of questions

After watching the documentary on Caroline Flack I do feel that she was badly let down by ITV.
I know she was accused of something quite serious but she obviously had problems mentally and maybe with alcohol.
They could have supported her more, especially how they supported Ant after all his stuff.
I think she was thrown under the bus a bit and I agree that Laura W jumping into her shoes so quickly left a very bad taste in my mouth.
Absolutely agree, it all comes down to ratings and popularity “Everybody loves you ‘til they don’t”, she was expendable. As for Ant, I’m sure people round him were very much aware of his lifestyle at that time and kept schtum. Nothing would have changed had he not been exposed publicly then they HAD to be seen to be doing something. I agree with what someone else posted that she didn’t have the emotional resilience to cope with being in the public eye and the criticism and judgment that comes with it. An avoidable tragedy if she was given the right support I’m sure

I met her once being interviewed for a tv programme - we were all nervous as a friend was about to sing for a chair turn on the voice. She came in 30 seconds before they recorded, never looked at any of us before the cameras rolled, and changed dramatically when they did. As soon as filming finished she went didn’t even say good luck, kiss my arse or even goodbye!
Her and Schofield are well suited!

Wonder what happened between her and Ferne Cotton weren’t they besties at one time? Ferne does seem less fake.

Yep, now I wouldn't call her a friend but she is a nice person. Just not *my* kind of person because she's not very interesting 🤭Don't think she has a mean bone in her body. I know a few people who work in ITV and would say the same but they wouldn't have worked terribly close with her.

There's still mates but not close anymore. Fearne is definitely easier to chat to/more interesting but she's not into the party scene or into "being seen" like Holly. Holly doesn't seem to be able to socialise without chemical assistance.

Good grief what a stupid thing to do I hope she recovers without scars but you have to wonder what happened to the common sense these so called celebs are born with, all they seem to care about is how they look to others online.

What a bloody stupid thing to do! The Pritchard brothers are both so awful and attention seeking. I can’t stand either of them, and have to wonder why they though doing something like that was a good idea? If she was admitted to intensive care and has had skin grafts then the burns were very serious. I hope she recovers but she will almost certainly be scarred for life. What a pair of idiots.

I read that story this morning too... but the accident was supposed to have happened on 19th January and she's been posting loads of pictures of herself since then. She even posted one on the 20th Jan 🤷‍♀️

Thank you, by the way I'm really enjoying your tea so far ☕ I guess a lot of comments on her being not very nice are perhaps because she comes across *too* nice always, so it can come across to people as disingenuous often times.

I think the reason her and Ferne don't speak much now is because Holly is still very much on the party scene (I mean look at her the morning after NTA's on TM) and I see constant reports that she likes the white stuff on here, whereas didn't Ferne have an addiction or her partner was once an addict? So she is trying to settle down now and become more of a wellness-guru kinda celeb.

Hello everyone,

I have some slight gossip.

1) Emilia Clarke went to my school. Different ages so our paths did not cross that much. From what I heard though, Emilia was very nice.

2) One of my best friends went to school with Florence Pugh. Said she was very nice too.

I know its not much. But hope you like. 😊 xx

I think it all goes out the window in a desperate search for attention. Like those people who fall off cliffs trying to get the perfect selfie.

Yes I hate the absolute inconsistency of how crimes and misdemeanours are treated.
If Ant had been a pretty blonde presenter chosen for her easily replicated qualifications she’d be claiming benefits or looking at the flight schedules to Dubai. The misogyny of who and how they get jobs makes them expendable.
Stephen K. Amos sexually bullied a very young lad, and gave him drugs who subsequently killed himself, and also has several allegations of sexual assault against him. Yet, the BBC gave him a plum role in the LGBTQ series! Do the high-ups really believe most LGBTQ people would want to be represented by someone like that? A horrible slur in itself.

Also re poor Caroline Flack, the pink impersonated/singer so ill-used by the X Factor said how kind she’d been, and told her not to go on if she didn’t want to. This was well before she died, so she wasn’t trying to be kind to her retroactively.

Unfortunately, a greater proportion of vulnerable people than in the general population is attracted to these shows anyway, and show business generally. Whatever absence they feel cannot be filled by the fickle shot of fame.

Praise be! I set up a new user name but I have been on this thread from day 1. We can help you compile a list of questions
Are you a banned substance?

Zoe Alexander. I should have put her name in my post. Re pink impersonator/singer.
