I don’t think Caroline’s reputation ever recovered from that either. She was one of those people who my mum would say didn’t help herself. She made some very poor choices I think we all can agree.
Yes i agree with you. I feel so sad for her because i also have quite bad mental health issues- BPD, Bipolar 2, hallucinations, a history of suicide attempts. And ive read that Caroline also had mental health issues similar to my own. And i always think that i couldnt handle being famous and having that sort of coverage she had, so it doesnt overly surprise me it ended that way for her.

I've been quiet here for but a while but I felt compelled to come on here to say *look* at Laura Whitmore on Instagram. The comments show her true colours. As a fellow Irish gal in London I feel I should have a sort of comradeship with her but she is awful.

In this post, she's banging on about how proud she is to work with renowned sustainable brand *checks notes* eh, Primark. People are commenting with legitimate concerns about the company and she is so passive aggressive towards them. Great that Penneys/Primark are taking steps to improve but if you were truely into sustainability you wouldn't work with a brand like that.

I've had the unpleasant misfortune of having to spend a lot of time with her because there are some overlaps in our circles of friends and because of some work I do. She is a nasty piece of work. She practically foamed at the mouth when given the chance to work on love island and let me ask you, if you were so heartbroken about one of your 'best friends' dying would you be posting videos of yourself dancing around less than a week later. She's such a con artist. I mix in circles that are full of show biz types and used to work in PR so it says a lot when I say she is the most pretentious, selfish brown noser I've ever known. Wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her. And it all comes out in those comments.

Ahem. So. Any other opinions on her? 😆

I like Iain Stirling though. I hope he’s a nice guy, but then if he’s married to her maybe not. She really isn’t a good replacement for Caroline on Love Island either.

Can’t stand her although I don’t really know why. She comes across incredibly smug, especially since she got the Celeb Juice job.

Oh I can’t stand her. She thinks she’s the absolute bollocks doesn’t she (not that I’ve met her but you can just TELL). And her behaviour surrounding CF both before and after her death was in really bad taste.

He can be a bit arrogant but he's actually very lovely.
A genuinely funny person and he was a very good friend to Flacky no matter what was going on.

Disingenuous is actually the perfect word. I've heard her witch about so many people behind their backs and then see her fawning over her. I can't give a specific story because it will give the game away, me saying I'm Irish doesn't because there are a few of us in the one group, but I and others have had run ins with her about things she's said and done including acting the school girl bully in grouchos to exclude people who might reveal how difficult she was on strictly. She will say anything to get her way or to have someone pushed down a peg or two to make way for her. I can only imagine that's what her book is about.

Yeah I saw her on that Rob Brydon lying show... can't think of the name and even on that I was like you could see the arrogance.

Regarding Cameron - and this is a revealed 'blind item' so take it with a grain of salt:

Blind Items Revealed #4

August 20, 2017

Speaking of therapy, this former A+ list mostly movie actress walked away from the spotlight a few years back. Everyone thought it was because of the roles she was being offered or that she had a fear of failing, but it turns out something happened on her second to last movie and it made her never want to do another one again. Her last movie was a favor she felt like she couldn't walk away from.

Cameron Diaz

(I'm guessing it's this one https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2203939/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_5)
That film “The Other Woman” was dreadful! One of the gems (I think it was Cameron’s character) saying you have to stayed waxed in order to keep a man 😠. Awful. If that was the film that made her want to give it all up, I can’t say I blame her. Hopefully nothing bad happened to her though?

In many ways I actually enjoyed that film, even though it was trash, it was guilty pleasure trash for me. But that bit about keeping waxed was not a good line. She was a proper badass character in that film and I quite enjoyed her screwing over the cheating man.

Never liked her. There’s always been something snidey about her. Always “I love me who do you love?”

Any goss on Harry Styles? Apart from the usual rumours?

I talked about HS a little in the last thread around the grimshaw stuff and his sexuality. I don't know him apart from socialising in the same place with some of the same people. He always seemed to be warm and good fun.

After watching the documentary on Caroline Flack I do feel that she was badly let down by ITV.
I know she was accused of something quite serious but she obviously had problems mentally and maybe with alcohol.
They could have supported her more, especially how they supported Ant after all his stuff.
I think she was thrown under the bus a bit and I agree that Laura W jumping into her shoes so quickly left a very bad taste in my mouth.

That's supposedly the reason for Caroline Flack's role as cougar, and allegedly the job offer to present Xtra Factor stemmed from her cooperation.
Yes, I knew that bit, but that’s young for Grimshaw isn’t it?

She was one of those women who couldn’t stand being single and would latch onto any man who’d have her. She was apparently desperate to settle down and have a family, but always chose much younger men who weren’t ready for it or who just wanted a quick fling.
I think Kylie has done that. If you keep on picking drop dead gorgeous blokes much younger, they’re not going to see the attraction of baby vomit.

It was all above board and legal, but a bit iffy - if my son took up with a partner so much older, I would be concerned he was perhaps being coerced.
Look at Stephen Fry and his husband Elliot, there's an age gap of 30+ years. They seem happy enough though, and in a heterosexual relationship, no-one bats an eyelid when a young woman hooks up with a much older man - Bernie Ecclestone's wife is 44, he is 89 (and they've just had a baby)

what a sad end Caroline had. The assault was horrible, but the way one mate was salivating over her job, and another jumped into her fiancé’s boxers after her suicide!

People do bat an eyelid though don’t they? It’s nobody’s business once you’re an adult but teenagers, aged 16/17 with “partners” much older is usually about control. If it were a girl like Billie Piper with the creepy old D.J. Chris Evans I’d be horrified if I were her Mum.

Also, judging by his views on pedophilia, and his “comedy” he wrote about it ditto Stephen Fry.

I know this isn't what we're talking about here but when I saw this and read the post the two things that jump out to me right away are a) her foundation looks far too dark for her and b) it's Penneys. Not Penney's. As an ambassador she should know that.

Just noticed 'halo affect' too. Effect, Laura. It's effect. At least we know she writes her own posts.

Usually a lurker..fellow Irish woman and I have to say disingenuous is the nail on the head for this bint . There is something so fake about her. What is with the posh dublin accent....she's not even from Dublin! She is the type of girl that would be lovely to your face and an absolute witch as soon as your back is turned.

I might be getting some genuine gos re Hewhocannotbenamed! My Wonderfully successful friend is coming back to London in the Summer, so I will be putting in my Louis Theroux hat in, (not the one he had for Savile) and questioning her closely.

I can’t promise anything like sex parties etc, it may well be “he’s lovely and great to work with”, knowing my luck.
