I mean, I’d usually not even entertain that kind of thing but it’s conceivable in this case because of how neatly everything came together. Not only did he release a final album, all about his death, just two days before (blackstar came out on the 8th of jan, he died on the 11th) but he celebrated his 69th birthday on the 8th too. Dieing so close to your birthday gives your life a neatness he probably would have liked too... Shakespeare died on his birthday (allegedly) which I'm sure he knew. Even if the suicide theory was true, he definitely wouldn’t have done it on his birthday I don’t think - it would be too painful for his wife and daughter ... and actually his adoration of them both is one of reasons I don’t believe he would have killed himself. Yeah he was going to die anyway, but it’s different somehow to do it yourself.

It’s not uncommon to hear people say he was the master of turning his life into art pieces and eventually extended that to his death. I think rather than controlling when exactly he died, he made sure to control anything else he could... like ensuring the album was finished, in total secrecy and while he was very sick. It made sense to release it on his birthday for the symbolism when he knew he wouldn’t see another Add my theory that he wanted to see that day through for the sake of his family, you can imagine that he was utterly exhausted (didn’t even mention he had a play open on Broadway that December) and didn’t need help reaching the end.
Couldn’t agree with this more. Yes had he been a single guy yeah there’s a huge possibility. He was also going to be a grandfather in the coming months. So I just can’t see it. As someone speaking from experience suicide leaves a huge impact on lives and his daughter was at an impressionable age.

Right I'm having trouble conceding to any of that but next time I'm "can't get out of bed level" hungover and fancy falling down a big rabbit hole, I'm looking into this. For the entertainment value if nothing else. You got video links?
I used to go down many rabbit holes on a forum
called the Conservative conspiracy forum. It had some pretty wacky way out stuff on there but was fun anyway and some good sleuthing. It got tit down as some content had “violated the rules of the forum host” or something to that effect. Maybe a poster had hit on some truth that someone in the know wasn’t happy with.
Anyway, they had a massive forum about Peaches Geldof.
This is the new forum from the same posters. Only 4 pages on the new PG thread.

It’s not tattle traffic making it run so slowly is it ?!

The X Factor contestant was Lucy Spraggan who was attacked by someone who worked at the hotel she was staying in. But Ive also heard the story about Duffy as well.
I remember when that series finished, she got into a twitter argument with James Arthur and he referenced it. I’ve disliked him ever since.

Who do you mean by Roache? W. Roache?
According to him, people who are sexually abused essentially deserve ita nd must have done 'something wrong' in a past life and brought it all on themselves.

He also 'excused' people like Jimmy Saville and his ilk by saying that promiscuous young teenage girls 'trapped them'.

I can't believe that more people weren't outraged and that he wasn't fired when it all came out.

His spiritual 'cult' (and the above) makes me believe that something clearly is not all right with that man...

I've never forgotten Roache saying those things and I agree it's shocking he wasn't sacked over it. I still reel to think there are people with beliefs like that.

I heard it was his ex wife / girlfriend who accused him of abusing their daughter. It broke him but kept a dignified silence and was eventually found not guilty. The entire thing was fabricated as revenge for him leaving her
The sister of a friend of mine is an actress who had been cast in Coronation Street for a long-running storyline involving Le Vell's character. When the accusations were made against him the storyline was cancelled to allow him time off screen. She was pretty pissed off because she reckoned her fee would have paid off her mortgage...

I think with Bowie (and I don't know what he actually did), it's very important to remember that suicide and euthanasia - whilst both ending your own life - are very different things. I can totally understand why a cancer patient with a terminal diagnosis may choose to end their own life. The reality of dying from cancer is very hard and ugly, and many patients are drugged to the point of being insensible to cope with it, and pass not as themselves. Maybe he did take the option to do it his way? Maybe it was just a coincidence? I don't think we'll ever know.

Could we have a Peaches thread on here, perhaps? I am relatively new and knew absolutely nothing about her until I read this thread. I am intrigued as to where the info has come from etc. Could somebody in the know start a new thread?

I had no idea that ‘friendly old Ken, the Corrie Stalwart’ had aired such horrific, victim blaming, views. What a complete bleep! And ‘that’s swearing!’ as my dear late mum used to say when she uttered an ‘unacceptable’ swear word!

I really really hate the term "kiddy fiddler". I think it just sounds so disrespectful to the victims.
Call them what they really are: child abuser.

I'm not having a go at anyone here or anything by the way. It's just a phrase that always upsets me.
I agree. ‘Kiddy Fiddler’ makes it sound like it’s all a bit of fun and games. A bit of tickling and being silly. When we all know it is a millions away from lighthearted fun.

I just can’t get my head around 1) why any adult could be attracted to a child and 2) that there are so many male celebrities out there who indulge in it.

Obviously, a lot of non celeb males also are involved who we never get to hear about, but why??? What is wrong with them? Is it the thrill of power? A sense of ownership? It appears to be rife. Just think, even today, someone’s dad, husband, brother, son, or uncle has committed unspeakable acts with a poor defenceless child. How can these men even sleep at night? It makes me want to cry for those poor children whose own protector is also their abuser.

So...

The Lucy Spraggan thing is indeed true. Syco didn't want her to go to the press about it so offered her an album deal as a sweetener...but they never had any intention of promoting it. They dropped her as soon as they could - which is what Syco do all the time.

Syco are absolute bastards and good fecking riddance to the X Factor. I know of someone who went for a job as PA for the winner of X Factor and was told at the final interview, "Oh, don't get too close to them personally. We let them have a shelf life of 18 months at the most usually and drop them as soon as we can once we're on to the next season".

And yes, tit loads will come out about DJ when he dies.

Oh, Simon Cowell's relationship with Sinitta back in the 80s was very much real - he was managing and shagging her.

However, he realised that he preferred cock a good few years later.

A lot of celebrities escort as a side gig. Especially Victoria Secret models, the entire roster of models are basically a craigslist advert for rich businessmen, for an example; Miranda Kerr was asked to give back jewels that a corrupt Chinese businessman gave her when she spent time with him and she refused to give them back as they were a "gift". So when you see a celebrity who you haven't seen or heard on TV, radio or film, dressed in the best of clothes and driving the best cars. You know they're yachting.

It's also the reason why Lindsay Lohan is learning Arabic, as she's popular with Arabic men.

Evan Spiegel, the creator of Snapchat, who is now married to married to Miranda, boasts how she is very family oriented and loves him very much!

"Miranda, what attracted you to the multi-billionaire, Evan Spiegel?"
Miranda would go for anyone had money. She slept with Justin Bieber and Orlando Bloom took a swipe at him. Leonardo DiCaprio is another conquest but she was too old to be a bonafide. There is literally only one reason she was with Jho Low and James Packer...

She was tricky with Evan. Waited until they got married for sex and then got pregnant straight away. Then got pregnant again real fast, I think when the baby was only 8 months old. Locking that Snapchat money down fast.

Apologies if this is old news, but JT is rumoured to actually be quite the scumbag. Apparently, he cheated on Britney Spears and mistreated her a lot when they were together all those years ago. She got super upset and lonely, as you can imagine, and grew close with another guy as a result of it. In retaliation, Justin dumped her, wrote 'cry me a river' made no secret of the fact it was about her, slut-shamed her for all the press to see, and encouraged a massive slut-shaming dogpile on her. The subsequent years of tit she got from the press as a result of this played a large part in her eventual breakdown in 2007. He also supposedly cheats on Jessica Biel, or did as recently as a couple of years ago.
Again, sorry if this is already well known, I read it on a super pro-Britney twitter thread two or three years ago and fell down a bit of a rabbit hole. No smoke without fire, maybe?
Justin is a head. Definitely cheats on his wife. Those recent photos of him in NOLA were so bad. I would have left him a long time ago if I was Jessica Biel. He tried to get with Mila Kunis when they made that movie together and Olivia Munn was a side piece for a while.

I don't blame him for writing Cry Me A River but he did Britney so dirty with that lookalike in the video. Awful.

This x 100!! Rolf Harris wasn’t some cuddly, kid friendly TV artist when he was molesting a 7 year old girl. Same goes for DJ - not sure why allegations against a man are being dismissed by citing his safe, made-for-TV comedy personas?
I'm sorry, I don't think I was clear in my post.

I'm not dismissing the allegations because of a character he played. I'm saying how can this bloke have enough power, influence, sway, whatever to suppress a file which proves he is a paedophile. I'm wondering how someone like him can have the means to escape the law, he's not a high ranking politician, member of the Royal Family, or anything like that, he's just an actor. That was my point about "He's Del Boy".

Yeah, I'll say that but then I'll see them on deal for 2 quid in Tesco and promptly fill up my basket with them :ROFLMAO:
As long as it's only your basket you're filling. And that's not a euphemism!

As said earlier my friend then 16/17 was groped by him at a work Christmas party on coronation street 😮

I’m not sure if there’s another Royal thread or similar, but is there any gossip on Pippa Middleton and James Matthews? I’ve heard that he’s a really nasty piece of work towards their domestic help but don’t know how much of that is true?

Not to leap to his defence but he’s just like a lot of people from those circles. Servants/home help are beneath their notice.
