SAME HERE! I also wasn't prepared to DM or message her to say "can you follow me plz?" as you'd think she'd be more invested in the people choosing to invest in her, or is that just me being naive?
The only post of mine she ever shared was me on a treadmill. Haha.

She realised she’d been had too late, they split the money 50/50 and she doesn’t have it to give back.

The thing is...I can think of so many ways she could have handled it, but she's collapsing and hoping someone will rescue her, like a helpless baby. She's in EMOTIONAL upheaval and something it's definitely going on beyond a business breakdown. Business break ups are rough but she's treating this like a personal tragedy. Why? Why oh why? Ok, if she realised Llewy had been using her it might hurt an awful lot, but where's the anger? I have questions

So... here's what I would have done..

Issue a calm statement apologising and explaining she'd realised working with Llewy wasn't working out (or something like, we've decided to take our businesses in different directions), say the SI start would be delayed by, say, 3 weeks. Take a little break, cry, get counselling, sort tit out. Come back with reputation intact.

Honestly I think she’s scared of Llewy, I can’t imagine they had much of a contract in place if any. Did you see him acting out cut throats earlier in the week? What a #brandstrategy !

He’s bragged about accepting client payment in cash and can’t even rustle up a landing page to create an email list. So he’s just run off to Nandos and the watch shop with the cash

If there’s no contract, her and NBBS are fully liable so she’s having an emotional breakdown about it and not sorting it out like you rightly say she should. I would do the same as you, thats what I was trained to do

these two were just making it all up as they went along as long as “the money is coming” it’s ok right?! Ignore the haters who want value for money and to be respected clients (not mates!)

Sarah stop attention seeking and grow the duck up!! Give these people you fleeced their money back ALL OF IT. You introduced them to the con man, it’s your mistake not theirs . I’m sorry if this is harsh but you have no one to blame but yourself. As someone said a few posts ago, imagine if this was your daughters or your sister ... do the right thing, I know you have humility and good in you somewhere. If you do that it will stand you well to move forward and highlight who the crook is here. If you don’t then you tar yourself with the crook brush too. You’re better than this Sarah !

Jen’s ethos isn’t about millions and she doesn’t strive for them, she has a very comfortable life filled with exactly what she wants and rightly celebrates that.

She advocates living a life serving people by doing what you love as a route to whatever you define as wealth. Which can be facilitated by money but often isn’t.

Her work is about about working out what you really want and going after the numbers which deliver that with confidence.

She charges reasonable rates and encourages slow and steady growth. This mess is nothing to do with her but if she continues to stand by Sarah while she takes no accountability I fear she will be tarnished

Jen has a rich background in meditation, hypnotherapy, yoga, healing modalities and runs a lot of other courses independently and with others that have brilliant results. She’s a highly skilled and responsible person

That sounds a decent approach to making money I guess Sarah tried to straddle these two extreme ends of the market , Jens methods on one hand and Llewys on the other.

yup, but I have to trust that these things help real coaches stand out. I only sign people up after booking a call and getting some background on where they are at, sign a contract and agree expectations etc

SA has made a mockery of all the people that spend time and money learning how to help people ethically

I started following her from NBBS content about 18 months ago, I had a look back at her old blog content for the first time yesterday. It was enlightening!

The “if you don’t like it, piss off” attitude has been around for a while and she actually signed off one of her blog posts with that kind of line

I feel silly for assuming that everyone else does the real work and has ethics too

I think her silence is due to her burying her head and playing “ poor me” which I’m frankly shocked at as this isn’t the Sarah I’ve seen ever before and I followed her from around 3-4 years ago . She’s not practicing what she preaches and for every day there is silence and no refund it’s another nail in her own coffin. Lewylu conned you Sarah , get over it and rescue your business and your reputation as currently you’re still swimming in the same silt ridden pond as him.

I don’t think for a second that Llewy conned her. She paid him to help her make a million and she (allegedly at one point) achieved that goal. So she wasn’t conned. The people who have been conned are those who paid for a service they didn’t fully receive, based on misrepresentation and dodgy advertising.

Yeah I don’t think he conned her I think she woke and realised the path she has went down because of greed , he offered a service even if it was a bit sketchy , she set up doing her own thing so it’s on her . I’m not sure why she doesn’t just manifest the money to pay people back ? Oh right because it’s all bull . Business is all reputation and contacts , she thought she hit the jackpot meeting him then realised he didn’t have what she wanted .

Yeah I wouldn’t be bragging about writing a book in two weeks. It’s an ok book just summing up the M&M course but doesn’t go into any great depth. Jen’s own book is so much better I have so many pages folded over and refer back to it often, it’s self published so the editing isn’t great but the content is golden.

I dunno. I think she was conned/took in by it. He was recommended to her by a friend. She probably saw what we all saw. Got sucked in by the motivational speeches he does. Which I admit were good. It’s full circle. She just happened to have a bigger following than his usual targets.

I actually don’t think the first two months was bad. It got me exercising which absolutely helps with mental health. Believing I am good at what I do etc so I have gained loads from it. It went downhill from there though and she’s refunding that.

Personally. I think she’s realised what a massive fool he is and is hugely embarrassed!!

I don’t fault her for setting up another group either as it’s away from him and she can speak more openly about what happened. As long as everyone from smashing it gets invited of course.
