He might be vulgar and his methods questionable but aside from the affair, he did meet a lot of his obligations. As far as I can see the other stuff they worked on, he was a paid supplier and therefore got paid like an employee back in June when he was working. It’s all a bit murky and not very transparent. They don’t really have the recall to chase his for that money as that falls under her remit.

However, despite all of that you are entitled to a refund based on the consumer protection laws for quite a few reasons (pressure selling, lack of delivery) so push back and also claim back via your bank
