I'm going to light a candle today for Saoirse and the whole family as much as I didn't like a sick child being the topic of an Instagram account (don't think any children should be content online) they have all my compassion in what is an unimaginably difficult situation.

Agree with this. Poor Saoirse..I hope she hasn't spent Christmas in hospital

Poor girl was looking so pale and frail the last month or so. Was often commented on here. What a time of year for her to be unwell. Hoping things improve for them soon. Think everyone here wishes nothing but the best for Saoirse.

I live in the general area the priest regularly post on Facebook, am for prayer and intentions buy haven't seen anything

I haven't heard anything since Christmas Day. Just checked the parish Facebook page and no more intentions there. As a previous poster said " Think everyone here wishes nothing but the best for Saoirse.

She could be prepping a big Christmas reel. She’s gone quiet before & come back with a reel of everything they have been doing. I’m pretty sure she did it last year too. Saoirse is unwell but the prayers at Christmas mass don’t necessarily mean she has taken a bad turn.

That's a bit harsh. Of course they don't 'owe' anyone anything, it's just that as they have been so public about it and Saoirse is such a lovely little girl, a lot of people really warmed to her. Everyone on here is wishing them well and hoping she is OK including myself and many others. Hopefully they are just taking some time away from SM.
