Apparently there were a few other younger girls too but the ex didn’t know that when she got back together with him..so risky to act like that when you’re in politics and reputation is everything… I’m not sure if Sandra knew he was back with the mother of his kids while she was seeing him… but it makes sense the way their relationship was such a big secret

Even though she’s quite ‘grown up’ in how she speaks I get the feeling she’d call a real romantic partner her boyfriend because it’d be so cute and lovely and hearts and fluffy etc. When she called him her partner in the story it just didn’t sound like something she would say if she was gushing with affection and excitement about him. Also even if the partner weren’t in the public eye and valued his privacy I’d have expected to see him in the announcement photo with her.
He might be trying to protect his kids? One of them is in secondary school…
That’s my point, that she’s keeping things hush hush and very distant for a reason.

To be fair this ‘oh we used a condom/she’s on the pill but it didn’t work’ scenario is usually bs. I know it does fail but honestly rarely. Of course saying ‘sure it feels better without using anything so we didn’t bother our holes being careful’ is less acceptable for other people to hear
A woman might be on the pill and it might fail….or it can also be a man’s way of trying to put the responsibility onto the woman for a pregnancy he didn’t want. Not saying women don’t occasionally lie about being on the pill but it takes two to tango.Just going by what I’ve been told really..it makes sense but who knows..I feel like the Instagram post is in really bad taste with all the congratulations etc when their kids only found out about her recently and as of last week haven’t even met her yet.. very compartmentalised thinking on her part..and not a great start to a new blended family

Look. I can't stand her but however she got pregnant is irrelevant. She IS pregnant and seems delighted and I sincerely hope everything goes well for her, but he sounds like a right prick and he's not completely blameless in the whole situation. It's all well and good blaming the woman but he's the one that has been putting it about. Let him cry and moan but he needs to grow a pair and take responsibility. He's moaning in the pub in crookstown every bleeping day and he's a joke. She'd actually be much better off doing it on her own. Both women would. People saying what about his current children, well he didn't think of them did he. She can't hide her pregnancy forever and let her enjoy her special time regardless of how it came about. Personally I'd kick the fucker to the kerb.
He thought she was anyway.. hence his crying down the phone to his friends and drowning his sorrows every night..he’s stuck with her now anyway so should probably stop humiliating her… cork is such a small place
