Some people get so worked up about it my PC neighbour.gets v annoyed if anyone says it's nonsense.
I've yet to hear anyone give a clear definition of what it really means. That's why they get annoyed because its utter bullshit.

I really don't understand people saying things like 'don't comment on Sam Smith's recent outfits, it doesn't affect you, live and let live' etc. No, of course it has no personal bearing on my life at all, but the delicious irony is that without these parades of attention seeking and ridiculous costumes, no-one would give a fuck and he would not be getting anywhere near the levels of attention he is now. If he is this great talent (and I do think he is talented) then why such distractions? Well, it's a tale as old as time and has been done ad nauseam. The likes of Cardi B and Madge get MASSES of flack, but like it or not, they get away with it more because they have a certain level of sex appeal. Sam Smith doesn't - he looks like an embarrassed Dad on a stag do being forced into dressing up. Why shouldn't people comment? Or do you really think he and his people want no-one to pay any attention?

I mentioned earlier the move towards unisex job titles in the 90s. It was progressive and impacted on everyone. The whole non-binary thing concerns such a small amount of people. I know languages change over time, but here we are, mangling one of the most immovable rules of grammar to appease them.

As for the backlash, you've only got to look at Sam's album sales figures. The whole thing is a turn-off to the vast majority of people.

In the Lonely Hour 2.7m UK sales
The Thrill of it All 775k
Love Goes 121k
No figures for the new one yet, but it's dropped from number 1 to number 13 in just one week.

Note how Demi Lovato is back on the female train since her career took a gender-fluid nosedive.

I think it’s a real pity that Sam has gone down this route. His career took off because he’s got a great voice and that was enough. He had already achieved a lot while wearing ordinary clothes. Now is he full of gimmicky ridiculous costumes. He’s getting a lot of attention but none of it is about his music. He’s causing himself to lose any credibility as a singer/artist. The fame went to his head and he just craves more and more attention!

If you identify as non binary, can you be gay? Someone please educate me. My understanding is that if you identify as non binary, you don’t align with any sex, so if you’re sexless can you be homosexual? I’m old and confused 🫤

Sadly, he's probably surrounded by cronies who tell him how fabulous he looks. "Stunning and brave" and all that.

I hope his parents have enough common sense to tell him "son, you look a right twat".

To be fair, that is one way to show love 🤣 but maybe Sam needs to learn not everyone will treat them like that 🤣
That you've referred to him as "them" tells us all we need to know about you.

I have a good body because I eat well and go to the gym. I don't know a single person who would lower themselves to copulate with that obese prick.
