I dunno, not sure it’s a generation thing - I have a friend who is in his 40s who told me a long time ago that he liked wearing women’s clothes. He now tells me he is trans. I was like, no, you just have a fetish for cross dressing. He is married with kids.

I’m in my 30’s as is my brother, he likes to wear eyeliner and heeled boots and a looooot of leopard print, but he’s also a happily married man with a VERY high profile job who knows he likes women.

They all seem to have confused eccentricity for gender signposting, “I didn’t like being forced into one of two gender boxes therefore I’ll make my own box and if you don’t fit into those first two then you MUST be in my new one!” Why does anyone need a bloody box at all, it all seems so self-defeatist, soon we’ll have 83 different genders as people increasingly find they don’t like the gender boxes on offer and keep creating more 🤦🏻‍♀️ if the labelling and quantifying of self worth stopped perhaps they’d find contentment instead of contention

It makes sense to me that Madonna and SS are now hanging out and promoting each other. Both narcissistic attention seekers with bloated ideas of their own importance. Strip away the brown-nosing yes men around them both and you've got a fat bloke in a dress and a pensioner with an ageing complex who bought a Bratz doll face and think it makes her relevant.

The leather straps post reminds me of sausage links with all the fat rolls.

He’s not exactly selling his venues is he?
Perhaps he really is trying to hard.

then you’ve got chilled out Capaldi selling out in minutes 😂
People relate to Capaldi. He's comfortable with who he is and always ready to laugh at himself. You can imagine having a drink with him, whereas Sam would be hard, hard work.

I think the difference between sam
And harry is, harry isn’t trying to be sexual. Harry just dresses a bit ‘outlandish’. He is’nt out there in bondage gear and rubbing his nipples constantly

I love all the promo and column inches that all this outlandish behaviour is getting Sam. It's smart! And exposes A LOT of transphobes which is useful!
He claims to be NB (load of made up shite) not trans. How is thinking he looks ridiculous transphobic?

There's something so inauthetnic about the way Sam parades around. Just really does come across as anything for attention.
That’s because for some reason when you become gender neutral you need to be an attention seeker as well. I doubt there’s many of these people that don’t make a song and dance about it on Instagram.

Was just thinking the same about the freak show/asylum. He appeals to that sick part of humans that find enjoyment in being disgusted.

While the slating must be hard on him in what is obviously an unwell state of mind, I can’t but think it’s very much needed to usher in the moment of catastrophe that eventually puts a stop to all this and marks the beginning of his rehabilitation. Stringing this phase out is much more cruel in the long run
You put this beautifully. I’m genuinely worried about him.

As a lesbian who spent many years unable to accept it, I can usually tell when someone genuinely accepts themselves for who they are and has that weight off their shoulders.

With Sam, though, it doesn’t seem genuine at all. He seems so unhappy and is trying to overcompensate, hence identifying as non-binary and adopting they/them pronouns. It’s heartbreaking to watch.

I hope this wasn’t worded too clumsily and if so, I apologise.

And re the whole non-binary thing - there are many different ways to be non-binary. For example, I'm male but don't identify with many "traditional" male things - i.e. I bloody hate football. I guess that would make me a "brainwashed loon" to some...
bro what 💀 liking / not liking a sport has nothing to do with your gender.

Isn't it just swapping one eating disorder for another if you go from starving yourself to becoming an unhealthy BMI? Neither are good. But only one can be celebrated?

"Most thrilling popstar in the world" err no, the music is meh and bland.

Nah, he's just another boring guy claiming he's a victim.
We see you Sam.

That's exactly why Lewis Capaldi carries off being overweight, and not "hot".
He doesn't claim to be a victim, he absolutely owns wearing those pants, and he's fucking hilarious.
I love him.
Seen him twice, seeing him again this year and can't wait.

Lewis’ music could be shite all the time, I’d still buy his music on the account of supporting a good local lad who just wants to entertain

His genuineness is actually attractive
