Thanks. I'm using it but it's doing very little for me. Apparently derma rolling plus minoxidil helps but I honestly find it such a faff to keep doing. It's all so much extra effort and when you already have terrible executive function it becomes almost impossible. I'm trying to focus on enjoying it while I have it and playing with clothes /accessories/ make up instead.

You lot start early

not impressed with any of those 3 mists selected.

Uplifting smells be damned, nary a single one is ‘cheering’!!!

It’s hard to pinpoint, it’s good at making pores seem less visible and just makes my skin look fresher and brighter. I mean it’s not stopping the sag or anything like that, but my skin looks smoother. Makeup sits on it better, that sort of thing.

We'll have to agree to disagree. I am talking about her Guardian byline picture. Her hair colour is solid, and to my eye (and some of my friends) it does look like a wig. But possibly this is also because her use of Botox has given her complexion a slight waxy mannequin look, and why I think her hair looks like a wig.

I think the new fringe and way she's styled her own hair is doing the colour no favours, but that is because her new colour has not been done particularly well. And that is the bottom line.

My sister is losing her hair too, so I really sympathise with you.

To quote Fleabag - Hair is everything. And it is, so it is hardly surprising that it does bring so much drama into our lives.

Giving birth I felt like my insides were being torn apart...I'm a very basic bitch cause facial mists didn’t cross my mind! I'm afraid my skin wasn't juicy either....
If someone sprayed me with a facial mist while I was in labour I would have punched them.

I read this article on The Pool at the time, I didn't realise she'd revisited it elsewhere.
How unfortunate
I’ve taken one for the team and listened to Sali’s Maintenance Shag podcast. The hosts wang on for over eight long minutes before cutting to the interview with Sali. Apparently, “Not only is she a brilliant writer, she’s a brilliant thinker”. Sali actually makes some (to me) good points and sounds OK, more like I used to think she was (if that makes sense). And some dodgier statements too, as expected. Made in 2018, I think.

Me too @Vanelope . I have a distinct memory of being in advanced labour with my 2nd - arriving at hospital at 8cms and very much being in the zone and the midwife was talking to my husband as if I wasn’t in the room and I am (usually) very mild mannered, but I just shouted “I will let you examine me when this contraction is over”. If some bigger had come over with a bloody Evian spray mist god only knows what I would have done with it.

I was my friend's birth partner. She packed the Avene thermal water and I was supposed to mist her when necessary. I was so nervous I didn't spray lightly, instead I placed the can too close and squirted most of it into her eyes. She took the can away mid push. I was not harmed.

"tips how to make sex a fun and easy part of living together"?? - It's like they're renovating, not having sex. If it's not fun and easy, figure out the underlying issue.
"why it's unfair to decide that you're just not going to have sex with your partner anymore" - Who does this? "I have decided, based on absolutely nothing, from this day forward we shall no longer have intercourse. What's for lunch?"

I’ve taken one for the team
You sure did!

Do you mind me asking how much it is every 6 weeks to get done. I’ve never been to a hairdresser to colour mine, and I have no idea what roughly I should be paying.

Not at all - I imagine cost varies wildly depending on where you are, but in my provincial middle-England location I pay £30 for a cut and blow dry, and then £80 for the colour with a cut, definitely more than Sali does . My hairdresser has worked so hard to establish her business over the years and I am really happy to support her, I wouldn't go anywhere else even if it was a freebie.

Sali the sustainability goddess: Garnier spritz “now lives in not one, but three of my handbags and a kitchen drawer”
You can't expect champagne socialist Sal to be transferring things from bag to bag. That's grunt work
