Wow her podcast interview really shows how sick she is. She uses her robotic perfect wife voice the whole time and sugar coats things. She makes jokes and laughs, but imo it shows how disturbed she’s been for a long time. She says that her parents forced her to go to counseling after a friend of hers told them about her ED. And she says the counseling didn’t help “AT ALL” but she lied and said it had helped just so she could stop.
She also claims that her ED wasn't active after having Andrea (aka the manic walking and banana cookies and black bean brownie and detox tea phase), she just gets “really, really thin from breastfeeding.” She says she was just having “ED thoughts.” So she’s still completely delusional.
She talks a lot about how mean people are to her about her weight on social media. Imo she seems to imply that some of her ED is because of people on social media. She has a sick relationship with social media. The pictures that she posted weeks after having Andrea were begging for praise for her quick weight loss.
She mentions that her and Jonathan are “careful” about the words they use around the children because they’re scared of them having bad body image. And she says Emilia will say she wants her princess toys to be “skinny not fat.” This part made me really sad.

The only true thing she said was that at times she thought she was so messed up in the head she felt she needed to be in a straight jacket locked away in a institution. She knows she has way bigger mental issues then just her ED but will never fully admit it and seek real help. The only ppl I feel sad for in all of this is her children. They have suffered and will suffer more then anyone being raised by someone like her.
It seems she's already put an end to crucial part of her recovery they were calling the "starving phase" where your body essentially feels the need to eat constantly because of the yrs and yrs of starving it. She was rapidly gaining weight and couldn't deal with being heavy. I said during their Disney trip there was no way Anna would allow herself to remain that heavy into summer and it seems she's already reverting back to her old "safe foods" and portions. Bet she lies to her ED coach in her supposed weekly check ins on the phone. That whole concept sounds ludicrous anyway. She could say anything over the phone to this woman to make her believe she's been fine that week. After all she literally admitted to being a pathological lier when it came to her ED.
That's been debunked, someone paid to access the files and their shares are about £5000 each. Nothing substantial. They are very much dependent on YouTube (view time), Ads and paid collabs. Jonathan said before how he does "YouTube on the side" and "doesn't have to do this" as his company LittleSquidMedia was his main business. The LittleSquidMedia website and him getting desperate/moody and trying to change things up every couple of months shows otherwise.
She will never have a normal relationship with food. Period, end of story. But the fact that she isn’t able to accept how sick she was (and still is imo) and has been in denial for “15 years” is going to prevent her from making progress. She looked lovely after having Alesia and not restricting herself. But then starvation came back in full swing. It’s like she purposely stays in the dark about her true feelings. Probably because her whole world would come crumbling down if she admitted how miserable and disturbed she is. She was, what, 19 when they started vlogging? So she’s had a camera in her face every day whilst dealing with this. She was probably crying telling Jonathan about making herself throw up and then minutes later he probably started filming her. Their relationship is so messed up. I hate to admit it but I kind of starting to feel bad for her. She hasn’t had a chance to get better.
No never. There's nothing for them there and Irish people wouldn't tolerate them. They'd never make the money/have the opportunities that they have here. I'm Irish so have a bit of an insight.
Yeah, while Anna isn't innocent, there always will be the fact that she was only 19 and he mid- to late 20's when they met. They're the definition of co-dependency and we all know how he lets her treat him and his family but instead of giving in to her and completely isolating themselves from his bullies and her worries about being judged or seen as anything less than perfect from the moment they met, he should've known that hiding away from the world together won't make Anna get better. It would do both of them a lot of good to separate for a while and figure themselves out.
But this would very like be the end of them as a couple. He needs her to show off, to show his bullies that he could score a "hot wife", he needs her for YouTube, but does he really love her? Love her as a person and not just as a trophy and business partner? They have nothing in common, no hobbies, no passions. And would she really love him if he wouldn't be the one in a million guy who put up with everything she does, who allows her to stay home all the time, not having to go out to socialise, allowing her to completely indulge in her unhealthy patterns? They're just each others crutches in my eyes.

They always call each other their best friends, nothing else, just best friends which is very telling.
She all but admitted Jonathan did nothing to try and help her. That to me speaks volumes about their relationship. In my opinion he was fine to not be bothered with it as long as she stayed his skinny pretty eye candy for the vlogs. He's known since day 1 he only got views before the kids came along because of Anna. He probably liked her broken and buried deep in mental illness bc it kept her right where he wanted her. He knows she's the weak link in their relationship and I think he likes it that way. As manipulating and controlling as she is so is he but in more sinister ways. She was easy to manipulate in the throws of her ED and he knew it.
