I doubt she has many, if any real friends, bar the people from her NCT group. I suspect her closest friends are her husband and mum

and he doesn’t ‘make’ her go to work !! Instead she can teach us how to cook and grow courgettes !!Maybe she takes him lunch to the allotment. Is that being at work?

'I never have to open boring post like bills or do my taxes'. She sounds like such a bloody kid!!!! Literally as if her Daddy is taking care of her because she's too young to have a brain and figure it out for herself.
Women like this are idiots and God forbid he ever leaves her one day, she'd have no idea about how to take care of herself and her life. Oh wait... She'll just get Mumma to move in with her. Makes me sick!!!

Taking him lunch in his own house sounds weird. Or she doesn’t want people to know that he’s at home a lot. Or maybe she takes him lunch when he’s ‘working’ at her parents’ house.

Part of me thinks that if they want to have traditional defined roles and it works for them then fair enough. What does surprise me is that no one thinks ahead. If god forbid anything happened to the husband, she would have no idea of how to run the house bills and general admin. I know she has a good support network but I don't know why people don't run things 50 50.
This! There's no shame in having a supportive husband and a wife who supports him back in different ways. But to be totally clueless while doing that is.. Well, scary. I'm grateful that my dad taught me all the practical things like how to sort out bills, change a cars tyre, check electrics etc etc but it'd be nice to find a man who can do that for me because pfft
but I'm not having to *rely* on finding a man to live!!- Status
