I doubt she even burns that many calories from the exercise she does, none of them are very intense.
Might be reaching here so correct me if I'm wrong but maybe that's her performative anorexia showing. Yin yoga is not intensive at all, especially for the 10 min she does. I know someone who exclusively walks/ runs to burn the calories.

Edit: NM, there she goes skipping through the fields. When her dad tracks her I wonder if he sees her going in circles/ staying on the spot and goes "oh lord another speech about being present and magical.."

Who told her she could 'act'? I hated her monologue on being present. It sounds fake and forced and reminds me of young Emma Watson.

  • Return of the Oliver Cromwell collar but otherwise the outfits were pleasantly surprising, those jumpers were really cute on her

:ROFLMAO: I CAN’T UNSEE THIS. Every time I see that collar I will think of Cromwell.

I can’t stand it when people over-enunciate. It’s cringeworthy.

Slightly ot but I still really hate the way she has her bed. Seeing it in the new video just makes me question WHY does she have it in that position? It looks so weird and out of place. Why doesn’t she have the head board against the wall?

Her middle-distance wistful gaze whilst monologuing about "being present" is sending me. I have no idea how Ruby can stand out in the open and do that where anyone could walk past at any moment. I would die of embarrassment ngl

This exchange speaks volumes. “I agree but at the same time I think she’s okay”...

I didn’t realise literature student Ruby asked people to provide an example of a paradox.

You cannot acknowledge someone has concerning signs of an ED and yet think she is “okay.” They’re basically enabling her.

I feel like the second comment reads very much like 'I am young and easily influenced and because everyone thinks Ruby is perfect and productive, her behaviour around food must be okay', which is exactly why it's so worrying for her to encourage this perception. A young audience wouldn't be able to discern what's healthy and what just appears overall good, they become one, so Ruby has a real responsibility before she encourages little 12 year olds to eat a handful of leaves only and over exercise to the point of unnecessary weight loss.

I wouldn't say she's encouraging overexercising though, all of the exercise she does is very light. I would be more concerned if she was on a treadmill for multiple hours or doing lots of ab workout videos or something.

Saying exercise is the only way to stay focused to an impressionable audience is

Also, I‘m not sure she’s using the word ‘romanticise’ in the right way, or at least, it doesn’t mean what she seems to think it does. She says something along the lines of ‘you should romanticise your life’ but what I think she means look for small pleasures, that kind of thing. I’ve never really heard ‘romanticise’ used in anything other than a mildly negative context, when someone’s trying to make something that’s a bit rubbish seem better than it is.

sorry laughed out loud. fess up. who posted this from here!!!!?

THERE IS SO MUCH WHICH WINDS ME UP ABOUT RG.

My main issue. She is out of touch. She doesn't seem to acknowledge her privilege.

And apart from studying....what does she actually DO?

LIKE.

IT'S SO BORING THIS WHOLE FAKE EMMA WATSON ACT.

The way her room is arranged seems a bit off with the new bed tbh. At least she get more floor space but it doesn't really look good

I can't look at it without wanting to move furniture around. It's so badly arranged 😭

To me it looks like she’s moved her bed so that she has the space to do yoga in her room. Which was understandable if we didn’t know that her family has about 5 rooms where she could do yoga.

Unless she wants to make sure she can ‘exercise’ as much as she wants without anyone noticing?
