Christ this is so embarrassing and juvenile. I’m curious as to why she hasn’t said a word about Neil Gaiman’s sexual abuse allegations. More women have come out and she’s still avoiding it. I recall her posting some silly criticism of JK Rowling for tweets but I suppose she can excuse grooming and grape 🤦‍♀️ its fine to still like the book/film and IDK if Gaiman is getting royalties for this rerelease but if he is I certainly wouldn’t be giving the massive pon free advertising Ruby!!!

It was 'the' and 'a' being prepositions that did it for me!!

I wonder if she'll respond

Already they're defending her

She always limits her comments now. She knows she is constantly getting attacked for her content. Truly, this is pretty cringe that she is highlighting the works of an person who is presently in the limelight for numerous sexual abuse cases. I am shocked that she is not only dressing up childish, depicting one of his characters and posting numerous photos, but planning to dedicate an entire week to Coraline and celebrate him? That is horrendous. I feel like this goes beyond her being naive and careless, but borders more on a twisted mentality and lack of morals. She really is a loser, all around.

Why is she so obsessed with Coraline, anyway? Planning an entire week on one book?

I’m not even fully convinced she’s read it. She’s probably just seen the film and tried to make it one of her weird personality traits.
Definitely this. She bragged in a video a couple of years back that she used to re-read it all the time and it only took her 90 minutes. Suspiciously, that's the length of the film.

Let's just say I have re-read books before and none of them have taken me 90 minutes as normally it takes me days to read a book and even if it is a short book it will still take me a few days to read it all. IMO she has definitely not read Coraline.

it's not even a novel, it's a novella. It has like 96 pages when you take out the illustrations. It's not the flex she thinks it is.

So genuine question, is the rapist-children’s-author week of content one of her pre-phd self directed study projects?

She is humiliating herself here

Is she paid for it ? I've read that Gaiman hired a PR team to help down play the allegations, did they hired influencers to promote some of Gaiman's work? Or is she just plain stupid?

I think she's just ignorant. She doesn't want to believe it therefore it never happened. In her little childhood dream bullying is the worst that happens, life is an Enid Blyton novel.

"She supports the illustrator not the author!" Those mental gymnastics. Coraline is still by Gaiman and she doesn't care. This must be sponsored, right?

It's pretty telling that she keeps saying her Coraline posts are to celebrate the 15th Anniversary re-release of the film. Odds of this being a half-assesd undeclared ad campaign for the PR company handling the movie release are through the roof, she was just too lazy to get her ads organised for the week of the film's actual release yet again (it came out last week).

She also tagged Chris Riddell, who coincidentally BECAME HAAHR MYOST FAVORAT ILLUSTYATOR AVVAR the moment he sent her some gifted prints. Funny how gifting her things universally leads them to become her favourite. His illustrations for CWORALOINE are JANUINELY HAHHR MYOST FAVORAT! Meanwhile the only knowledge and imagery she ever seems to show of Coraline is pulled from the film.
