It also helps that unlike other students , Ruby has no other responsibilities or a job that making YouTube videos and that she didn't do for weeks. So she does have enough time to tweak and work on her dissertation and assignments among with her usual writing methods. It's not like you see Ruby having to wake up at four to get work done for her lecturer or an assignment which is due but she has to start work at 1pm and the rest of the day is written off for getting her coursework done.

I need to keep reminding myself that when it comes to my own masters and grades. I somehow end up comparing myself to Ruby, thinking that I'm doing badly or I'm not getting enough studying done ( I used to be stupid enough watch her 14 hours study days and I would replicate them). I need to remind myself I'm working full time as well and that I've moved and wife had an operation while ive been attempting to write a dissertation.

Admittedly it's hard to shake off the feeling that I'm doing poorly compared to ruby's and I'm too old for this now. I don't know if this is the effect of study tube in general on me as well as Ruby marketing herself as the perfect and productive student with her 12 hour days. I don't know If anyone feels the same or I'm just a bit bonkers 😅

Why do we need yet another room tour? The only thing that's changed in the past 8 years is her degression to a single bed. And even that's old news now.

she is such a pseud lol. a case in point:

here she is just like that in oxford and reading anatomy of melancholy. except it is the lite version which is weird given that she is a graduate student studying early modern literature in oxford. (it is kinda weird that she hasn't already read it actually, but never mind.)

here recently, she is just like that doing another gap year in her kitchen and one of the books that she wants to read is anatomy of melancholy. like, we already just like that-ed that book, no?

1724962909087.png

and now, Roob the pseud is educating the masses one wrongly pronounced word at a time and today's word is apposite. she says, "Richard Burton speaks of 'a most apposite remedy' in 1621."

- first: really? the very first example she uses is from 1621? she will never let us forget that she is an EaRly MoDErn Sch0lar now, will she?
- second: who is RICHARD Burton? there have been some Richard Burtons, surely, but what do they have to do with the book, anatomy of melancholy? the author of that book is ROBERT Burton, but I am no professor, I mustn't assume.

She sits on the stone floors in that freezing kitchen in a flimsy sundress in the middle of winter but for this event, she wears what looks like at least two layers, red opaque tights, shoes with huge soles and a winter skirt. 💀

Can they just kick her ass out of the dorms yet :ROFLMAO: I'm waiting for the downward spiral
Downward spiral coming soon. Probably when her final grades get handed over.

Expect another "GRADES AREN'T AVVERYTHING" video soon where she grumbles that Oxford destroyed her MANTLE HALTH by not giving her the grades she felt entitled to.

I literally said 'NO, Ruby!' out loud the second the video started. Please, for the love of God, give me at least a few seconds to settle in before starting up with the nauseating purple prose.

"I never used to wake up early. Even if I did, I never used to go outside." Bitch, when? We have years of videos that speak to the contrary. I can't recall a single occassion in which Ruby wasn't wake by 8'oclock and outside by 9.

I like how she says in her new video that mental health is important while showing clips of her sitting in the garden in her nightgown.😂

They’ve got a massive library/ drawing room downstairs. I’m sure they could fit some there!
I’m the opposite though. Once I’ve read a book I usually move them on. I don’t reread books because I’ve run the numbers and don’t have enough time for all the books I want to read.
That room is like where books go to die though. I remain unconvinced that anyone in that family enjoys reading, they just like hoarding stuff.

At some point in adult life, surely you stop thinking of it as ‘’self directed learning’’ and instead just call it… work… or having hobbies… or just living your life?

Like most intelligent adults are constantly ‘learning’ and expanding skills, knowledge, etc just through their career development, or in conversation, or reading articles and books? Even including academic stuff tbh. Atm I’m many rabbit holes deep on PubMed reading about menstrual cycle hormones, I read and write about some political history almost too niche to say online without outing myself, and then there are articles relating to my field of work that I try and stay on top of. While developing practical skills in my job. While having friends. While having other hobbies.

And I don’t think this is special or even interesting lol? Point is most of us have all of this stuff integrated into my our lives and don’t need a colourful set of fineliners and a mini printer to facilitate it past the age of 13.

She is perpetually a year 7 child spending the whole lesson lining up her stationary on her desk. Sad.

Her inability to stick to a story when it comes to PONKIN PLODTRIFTREE is getting even more ridiculous.

She claims she JANUINELY RONS THE COMPANY, which isn't true.

She claims she DESOIGNS AWL THE PRODOCKTS HARRSALF, which isn't true. She's admitted before that someone else designs them, but then couldn't settle on a story and went back and forth pretending to do everything herself.

Now she's posted a reel on the PP Instagram of her pretending to package orders, having turned one of the family's many living rooms into a wrapping station. She intentionally gives the impression that this is some scrappy bedroom business and that anything you order will be packaged by Ruby herself in homemade wrapping, twine and with free supplementary crap like homemade postcards thrown in.

What she neglects to mention (along with her having essentially no involvement in the company aside from being a glorified marketing mascot) is that she only did this with the handful of gifted copies that she sent to influencers.

The copies that people paid for, however, will be packaged at a run-down warehouse, where an underpaid worker who Ruby has never met will beat your planner with a cricket bat, toss it in some bubble wrap, cram it in a thin padded envelope, then flip a coin to decide if your order will ever be sent out.

Sure enough, there's a marked difference between the packaging of gifted copies and the ones that her fans paid money for:

And, hilariously, most of the recent posts on PP Insta have people commenting that their orders were never dispatched/never arrived and they've been met with nothing but radio silence from Ruby/PP.

Apparently in her TikTok she made those pins for herself and her super special friend/obsession Blakeney (that she totally is not freakishly obsesed with).

How long do we think it will take before she does one or more of the following?

1. Wears a white dress or nightgown and twirls in fields
2. Quotes from books, reads to us, or recites to us from one of her own works?
3. Post Oxford Masters Morning Routine
4. Post Oxford Evening Routine
5. Post Oxford Night Routine
6. Life of a daily aspiring author post Masters degree.
7. It is okay to not be okay
8. It is okay not to know what you want to be.
9. It is okay to live at home with your parents.
10. It is okay to not be productive all the time.
11. Role play another tea party or Regency period
12. I read 15 books in a 24 hour read-a-thon
13. Spending a day with my BEST FRIEND.
14. Reorganize my bookshelves with me.
25. Reorganize my bedroom with me.
26. A day in the life of an author.
27. How I keep a Commonplace book
28. Pumpkin Productivity for 2025!
29. A sponsored video.
30. Declares she loves summer, rain, fall, leaves, winter, snow, spring, flowers, clouds, quiet days, sleeping in late, getting up early.
31. Genuinely (with eye squint) loved her time at Oxford.
Roobs is definitely NOT taking handwritten notes of this that she will then transfer to notion and then transfer to her common place book which will then be transferred to her regular notebook that will then be written in a letter that will then....

See how I pose in my £255 cardigan? Very relatable, very demure. I don’t pose with my head in a natural position like some girls, I hold it at a cutesy angle. My smile? I don’t go for a real smile, I keep my grimace very forced and very fake, again very demure, very pre-autumn ✨

‘the meadows are full with the newly fulfilled promise left by spring’. Ruby’s prose isn‘t just purple (PHARRRPLE), it’s positively ultraviolet.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. She has long since outgrown her nursery styled bedroom and it is only going to get worse. I remember being in my late teens, running out of wall space for housing my books. Graduating, working a full time job, saving money, moving out, eventually getting married and owning our own home allowed me to expand my horizons. She was an absolute idiot to advertise that cottage she was planning to move into after school. Now everyone knows where it is. She could have had interesting content on DYI's, home decorating, gardening, the whole cottagecore vibe going on, and walls full of bookshelves filled to the brim. A perfect writer's paradise. No. She blew it and continues to cling to mummy and daddy for everything, living in her filthy hovel and remaining the adult child for eternity. If she couldn't embrace doing interesting content from Oxford I can't imagine anything decent coming from her now.
